I’m not a fan of Tim Hortons in general. Some items, like the Bagel B.E.L.T, are less bland than others but most food items lack taste(pretending to be «healthy») and are overpriced for a quick service restaurant. The Bagel B.E.L.T, with the option of bacon or sausage, is only $ 3.79 + tx and available before noon so that’s competitive against McDonald’s breakfast bagel sandwich. There are also more choices of bagels at Tim’s(the«plain goût» with pieces of roasted garlic brings unexpected dimensions to the sandwich) — though not to be compared with real Montréal bagel such as R.E.A.L. Bagel across the street. As for coffee, well it’s Tim Hortons. Don’t expect 3rd wave coffee or even a good 2nd wave coffee. And don’t get the dark roast — it’s dark enough as it is. The hash brown is meaty and less fried/crispy than McDonald’s(I prefer this one). There is almost always a line-up at this location but the staff is courteous. It’s a take-out only counter and there is no parking so PLEASE do not block the bus lane and take your vehicle to another part of town.
