Salon Vong

I went to Salon Vong three weeks ago to get acrylics done (and my friend got a manicure). I didn’t come in with an appointment and came close to the time of closing but, the owner still took me and my friend in until past closing! This was my best experience at a salon; the owner is very knowledgeable, gentle and friendly. The service is a amazing and I am happy to have found a place that uses non-​toxic and vegan products as those are important things to me. Three weeks later and my acrylics are still in good shape, the nail polish has not budged and all I need is a touch up because of nail growth! Amazing! I now recommend this place to everyone I know interested in getting their nails done! The price is also extremely affordable for such quality!

Passed by today without reservation on a Monday morning and was taken right away with my friend for a mani pedi and what a great experience!
Thorough, professional, beautiful VEGAN products!(the first and only salon in Mtl, the owner Yen proudly tells us) really great selection of colours and options for mani and pedis and waxing.

A wonderful experience! I had a gel manicure today and I was SO pleased with the result, the lady spent time and effort on ensuring I was happy with my new pretty nails, they were so well conditioned and then painted!
Another reason to visit here is that all the products she uses are 100%vegan! Massive bonus. The salon was bright, clean and welcoming!

What better way to start off a vacation than to get an incredible mani pedi?
They had hundreds of colors for me to choose from, and I even saw glow in the dark! When I chose my colors, she directed me to an incredibly comfortable massage chair and began filling the tub for me to soak my feet. I chose a pastel pink and a glittery fuchsia nail polish. Without even asking she made sure to give me an extra coat of polish so that the colors came out incredibly vibrant.
I’m so glad I was able to find this fantastic place that uses 100% vegan products! I considered not going to get my nails professionally done anymore because I recently read an article in the New York Times about toxic chemicals used in nail salons (

When I left, I definitely felt like something was different. That’s when I realized I wasn’t hit with a smell of chemicals you normally get as soon as you walk through the door of any regular nail salon. The atmosphere was bright, clean and open. The people are very friendly and I felt so relaxed the entire time.

Very friendly and accommodating! We had a group of 7 and they were able to do all of us and we got to enjoy our bubbly!

We called only a few days in advance, but Yen and her staff were able to accommodate our bachelorette party of 7 girls on a Saturday afternoon! She and Jenny did such a great job working with all of us, and were so friendly and fun.
All of the polishes they use here are vegan, and there’s a great selection of colors to choose from! The salon is comfortable and very clean and bright. We’re just visiting Montréal for the weekend, but we can’t wait to come back!
