*polish church in mile-end* i don’t go to church so i can’t comment on the church’s part but when they have their bazaar, there’s high probability that i’ll be there. they have their bazaar in the basement every season. the items range from used clothes to jewelries to shoes to books to knit accessories to living room accessories. amidst all that, they sell food too. there’s a counter for takeout meat(mostly sausages) and hot homemade food by the kitchen. you can find pastries(like cake) and polish dishes(like pierogi, sauerkraut, cabbage roll). price is around $ 7 and portions are more than fair and there’s many tables to sit at. during the holidays, they have a ticket raffle(which you have to buy) where you can win stuff so it makes for a lively ambiance while you’re eating. i’ve been back many times just for the food. it’s good no fuzz homemade food made by mothers and grandmas.
