The Sandwiches here are, to put it bluntly, disgusting. The meat in my sandwich was old and tasted just plain horrible. it was an 14 dollar sandwich and I couldnt eat it because it was gross. The dessert waffle I had was good. It had barely any whipped cream and was cold but it was good.

healthy, guilt free, gluten free, delicious leak sauce buckwheat crêpe. The gauffre is also fluffy and crisp, not very thick. If you want to skip on the usually greasy breakfast and some quiet patio time this is the hidden gem.

We had a Sunday brunch. I ordered a savory crêpe. My husband ordered a waffle. Mine has roast beef inside, red onion. Side dish can choose from fruit or salad. Drinks, I chose mocha latte, and my husband had the classic hot chocolate. He hated my drink. I think mocha is a flavor that he need to get used to. Overall the place offer decent food. The place is a little empty during the weekday evening but relatively full in weekend.

I was in there on a Sunday afternoon. There was no one in there, but this won’t affect my rating. I think this place deserves more customers. It would help if the décor was more creative… It lacks a bit of character or something. But the food is good and the staff person was super nice. It was fun to be on the patio, although a bit busy for me(it’s on St-Denis…). I had a Brussels waffle with salty caramel on top with a macchiato. The waffle was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, delicious. The price was very decent. I plan to go back to try the Liege waffles and the crepes.

so a new place that opened up in the st-denis death zone(outside of le couteau and matraca). it totally feels like a death zone. anyway, this place serves mainly waffles(or crepes), coffee and gelato. do not confuse it for the clothing store brand in france even though they share the same name. as i was biking on st-denis, i saw the place and remembered seeing something on instagram so i decided to stop by and might as well try. it was around 6pm and place was dead empty! i really mean dead empty. only other clients were some tourists that went in just after me and a couple outside. i looked at their menu, settled with a macchiato and a plain gaufre de liège since they do waffles. gaufre de liège is different from your regular light fluffy waffles as the preparation is a yeast dough instead of the pancake like batter and load with pearl sugar. it is much smaller and denser. the waffle was crispy, sweet(from the sugar and the dusting), had a somewhat subtle caramel flavor and dense. it was quite good. dressing up the waffle though was pretty unnecessary. all i wanted was a plain waffle, nothing else. as for the coffee, i found it to be lacking. it helped washing down the waffle and sweetness but in itself, it left me disinterested. so waffle was good but i’ll let people from brussels judge the quality/authenticity of it as i’ve never really had great gaufres de liège. and i’d skip coffee because of le couteau nearby unless its closed.
