Unicorn Boutique

Love this boutique. Great selection of beautiful clothes & accessories. They also stock a lot of local Montréal designers, which I love! I have personally found some standout pieces here, that I often get stopped and asked about.
This shop is great for a mix of professional clothing as well as fun dresses and tops to go out. They also carry nice bathing suits in the summer, shoes and handbags, fun jewellery (which I have bought as gifts for girlfriends), etc. Plus they almost always have a sales rack.
Totally worth stopping in — in fact it’s my ritual whenever I walk by (which is more often than I’d admit!)

I love this shop. It is small but packed with carefully selected items. Spend time looking at everything — in every corner, on every shelf, on every counter — there is cute stuff everywhere. There are a lot of Canadian and local designers so the style is influenced heavily by this. There is very cute and interesting hand-​made jewelry too. I saw some beautiful hand-​made leather bags. There is also lingerie. Their website is pretty true to the store, so you can get a sense of the style there. Of course, the store has more stuff. It is very easy to drop your coins here while updating your look.

Mon portefeuille pourrait potentiellement être complètement vidé en une seule visite au Unicorn. Ça né sont pas les vêtements les moins chers en ville, même que c’est du côté un peu dispendieux, mais mon dieu que c’est beau! J’ai eu le goût d’y acheter à peu près 80% de leur stock, bijoux inclus et je suis vraiment difficile quand vient le temps de sélectionner des accessoires. C’est surtout pour ça que je les aime. Ils ont un peu de tout même quelques bikinis pour l’été et des pijamas/​lingerie. les Le décor de la boutique est simplement mais oh combien chaleureux avec, quand je suis passée, de la super bonne musique! Ça donne le goût de s’y trouver une chaise pour y passer quelques heures et y lire un bon livre…

This is an excellent little spot to check out if you are looking for tasteful women’s clothes by local and international designers for around 50 – 200 $. Everything here is hand selected by the owner, and the clothes reflect her chic taste. When you see those elegant Montréal women wearing layers of je né sait quoi sexy soft basics with a twist, they are probably wearing something from Unicorn. Lots of black and grey, gorgeous soft t-​shirts and sweaters in unconventional shapes, and the lovely décor makes you feel like taking your time. Great spot to find jewelery gifts and don’t forget to check out the sale section in the back.

Although I have yet to visit here, I’m absolutely in love with it. The website is easy to navigate, the customer service is outstanding. I was doing some research for my upcoming visit (we finally have free time this time around) and came across this website. I emailed the store about shipping to the US (which they do for $ 20!!) and about items not listed on the website (see their blog).
Melanie graciously added the items to my order and within a week (yesterday), I recieved my package. The packing of the items was adorable. The reciept came in a black envelope, necklaces packed in a lovely paper bag and box and my shirt was wrapped in a electric yellow wrap. And also enclosed with a unicorn charm! /​endgirlishswoon
You may ask why I ordered online if I’m going up, well I wanted to sample items before making time on my one free day to visit… this is a definite stop for me. And from this, I will definitely be ordering from again soon.
So until my visit on Halloween, this cute place won’t get 5 stars (just yet!!).

Decent sale going on. Nice jewelry for the ladies. Not sure what there was here for guys except for a sofa.

This fabulous boutique was one of our favorites during our trip to Montréal. Great labels/​designers. INCREDIBLY helpful staff (thanks for the tips Meghan!) and lovely space. Great for guys and gals. A must check out.
