This Y is the closest gym to our house and the least expensive that I know! For a mere $ 25 a month or $ 45 for a family we get unlimited access to the clean facilities including a nice training room and two large sports rooms. There is a good selection of fitness classes (including in the subscription) and extensive group sports schedule. The only downside is that there is no pool at this Y but it is also one of the reason that the subscriptions are so cheap!
An additional benefit for those who travel is the Y «AWAY» program that gives you free access to Ys in other cities (I have used it several times in LA and Las Vegas).
