Inn On Long Lake

This place was perfect !! I love that they are so pet friendly :)) we had the family suite for 5 adults and 2 dogs and we had lots of room. Very clean the beds were super comfy. We had a garden suite so we were able to go out in the morning and take our dog for a swim and then ate our breakfast out on the deck !! The deluxe continental breakfast was typical but tasty they even had soya milk and gluten free bread :))

I wish I’d known about this place years ago! An immaculate facility right on a lake, every room has a gorgeous view, great hot tub, amenities for rent … and super dog and kid friendly. Reasonable rates, friendly, helpful staff. Close to restaurants, malls, etc. I’m already looking forward to my next visit there.

Best hotel outside of the downtown core. Being on Long Lake gives one a mild escape from the fact that you are in a city. The location gives easy access to 2 shopping malls as well as a number of good restaurants. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms.

I saw an add on facebook today for the Inn and I was reminded of my trip to Nanaimo two years ago when my brother visited from Toronto. It was nothing like I expected and that is good. When we arrived we checked into our room on the lake side, ground floor and when we opened the sliding glass doors it was like being back at our cottage in Ontario. The room was immaculate, the beds soooo comfortable but best of all this tranquil paradise that we had found in Nanaimo. As much as the rooms were great it was hard to keep me inside I just wanted to sit on the dock and savour the moment forever. My brother loved the continental breakfast but I was not leaving that dock unitl the very last minute. I’ll definely be back this summer
