Horrific! Staff that don’t care. Overpriced mediocre food at best. Got served the wrong wine twice. I would of rather ate at home.

Omg. Ok. I have been gluten and dairy free for about 2 months and honestly, the chicken curry pot pie is the best gluten/dairy free thing I’ve eaten! SO delicious. I’m not from Nanaimo and am just passing through with no cooler, otherwise I’d be buying a bunch to go!

A gluten free dream. Nice, modern, clean and inviting café with a wide selection of breads and pastries, breakfast all day. Excellent hot drink selection.

We were travelling through Nanaimo and was bored in the passenger seat so I punched in ‘Gluten Free Bakeries’ into my Unilocal! App. Let’s Eat Gluten Free popped up. OMG I’ve died and gone to heaven!!! Gluten free at it’s BEST! The panini roast beef sandwich and dip were the best ever, the cake assortment such a treat and the Chef’s Buns were a hit with the non celiac members of my family. Stopping on the way through Nanaimo on my way home to Victoria for the chicken pot pie, pizza pops, cakes, buns and all the bread I can fit into my truck! You gotta eat here!

I was pretty pleased to find this restaurant/bakery when they were located in North Nanaimo. I was pleased with the lemon cake — especially a low sugar option! I like the option of some of their frozen meal options and the pizza shells are pretty decent. I really hope they succeed but to do so, I hope they consider some feedback: — as a café style restaurant now, they need to critically consider their menu. I recently ordered a «panini» which consisted of two pieces of commercial deli ham, average to lean slice of cheese, on two large pieces of sliced bread. Hardly what I expected as a panini(it would be a skimpy grill cheese) and not for $ 8.50 plus! — equally so, please consider a feedback campaign on some of your other products to ensure you continue to evolve and produce your own quality products and dont just become a grocery store. The lasagna was starchy, bland and skimpy on filling; On the other hand, the foccacia buns are fabulous. I find I can even cut them very thinly into 4 thin layers(trying to reduce carbs overall). Maybe consider an option of even thinner one’s or full size foccaccia bread(cant recall if you have this?). Overall, it’s ok. I think some products need work such ad those mentioned above and a few of the desserts were, just ok. A little plain of too sweet, etc. Happy you moved downtown but keep up the product development and please refine your«restaurant/café» menu.
