Very good and healthy food for good price. I also liked that they have various vegetarian and vegan food.

Have now had the pleasure of attending this excellent restaurant sufficiently to be comfortable in highly recommending the food, service and décor. We were relatively unfamiliar with Korean food initially, but with the helpful and detailed recommendations of our server, we enjoyed one of the finer lunches available for miles. Subsequent visits confirmed the consistently wonderful range of offerings, and we very much look forward to our next visit. Personal note: As a hot sauce addict, I really appreciate the availability of a range of sauces, with the hottest being close to perfection. Again, a recommendation by the lone server, whose warmth, knowledge and efficiency are remarkable.

I had my first ever Bi Bim Bap here over a year ago. At the time I was kicking myself for never trying Korean food before. Since then I have visited Korean Restaurants in Vancouver, Victoria, and New York and have né’er come close to the amazing flavour nor quality which this family-owned Nanaimo business offers. They are a husband and wife team(i think). He cooks the incredible food and she serves it with impeccable attention to detail. They are friendly warm people and we love the atmosphere here. You will feel like you’re in a cedar sweat lodge(without the sweat) and with some changing art installations the view is always interesting.

64⁄100 Stopped by for lunch as my friend was interested in eating in a log house. I knew of this Korean Restaurant in the log house, so we went by. We ordered the BulGoGi which comes with very nice looking leaves of lettuce. The server? She was top-notch by Nanaimo standards.(o5/23) She knew about everything on the menu. Really super. They also serve tea and display work by local artists. From what I gather the owners are also the cooks, so it is authentic. I think I am gonna go ahead and give them 5 stars. They deserve it. Please note they are only open during Lunch and dinner hours(typical in Nanaimo). Perhaps this will change with summer, but do not quote me on that!

My first impression when I went in was it looked like a lodge but it served Korean food. It threw me off a bit but I kind of liked it. It was different and memorable. The restaurant did not look like a typical korean restaurant, however, it did serve authentic Korean food. The restaurant had a great selection of teas that I have never heard of. We ended up ordering chai green tea. There was a hint of green tea and chai in one. We ended up ordering jap jae and spicy hot pot. the flavour is there, I can’t complain about it, the price on the other hand… yikes!

Great tea selection. Good scones and decent coffee. The Korean beef noodle dish I had was delicious. Clean and classy. Nice building. I’d go again.
