I ordered flowers for my boyfriends mom for her birthday through the website. We opted for online floral delivery because we don’t live in Nanaimo and could not make it over for the weekend. When we put through the order we had to select a date from the calendar in the order screen. I put through the order for delivery on Sunday Feb 8^th. When I got the confirmation email it stated the correct delivery date (Feb 8^th).
On Saturday Feb 7^th I got a delivery confirmation email that my order was delivered successfully. I called in right away to ask why it was delivered earlier than the specified date, the person who answered at the store was not helpful, sounded like she didn’t give a crap about what my problem was, stated that they are closed on Sundays and then just said «give me your number and I’ll tell the manager to call you back.
Then I get a phone call from the owner 20 minutes later and she was so unpleasant to speak with. She was abrupt, kept interrupting me, and blamed the mess up on me. I told her the confirmation email I received stated delivery for Feb 8^th. She told me to forward her the email I received, I did that, then she called me back to tell me there was another receipt email that was sent after the confirmation email that had an adjusted date for Feb 7^th. Yes, I didn’t pay attention to that email because it was a «receipt» email outlining the total charge for my order (the original confirmation didn’t include taxes and shipping.) which is also annoying because it’s not like the tax rate changes, and they charge $ 10.99 for local delivery. This should have been a red flag for me, the other site I considered ordering from was free local delivery. Turley is such a money grab. If they are not open on sundays they should either remove the option to choose deliveries for Sundays, or they should put a note right next to the calendar that explicitly states that deliveries marked for sundays will be delivered on Saturdays. The least their staff could have done as a courtesy was to call and let me know that they are closed on Sundays. The owner was cold and her apology was so insincere. The whole conversation both times she kept trying to blame me. Do yourself a favour and order from somewhere else this place was a rip off and crap service.

When you walk in here you get a nice smell of Spring. You forget that it is winter outside. Really beautiful arrangements. Prices are decent.
