Mr Mozzarella

This place was just barely okay. I had high hopes after reading all of the other glowing reviews, but nothing was impressive. For a casual picnic with friends, I had ordered a large Hawaiian pizza, fettucine alfredo that came with a small half-​loaf of garlic bread, and two chicken Caesar pita sandwiches.
I was told to come by half an hour later to pick up the food. I was probably ten minutes late in arriving, and then it was probably another good half hour before we all got around to eating the food. They got my pasta order wrong and topped it with chicken, which I didn’t notice until after I picked it up (an extra $ 3 charge). Although the pizza was still fairly hot when we dug in. maybe the wait time is what diminished the food quality?
On the plus side: pizza did come generously dressed and was loaded with toppings. Pita sandwiches were huge, and the baked pasta was probably the best tasting out of the three orders (my kids seemed to like it). On the minus side: pizza crust was really thick — almost too bready and dry in proportion to amount of toppings, borderline bland. Garlic bread was just oily fluff. Pitas were not what I’d expected — iceberg lettuce, thin dry slices of chicken, simulated bacon bits, and weirdly enough, croutons.
The total bill came to about $ 54 with tax — ouch. It was fine for what it was, but I found it expensive and just barely acceptable fare. I wasn’t even that keen on eating the leftovers the next day, which says a lot.

My favourite pizza in Ottawa. Home of the chicken Parmesan pizza (ommmmmnomnom). They didn’t have any by the slice the last time I was there so they MADE ONE. Yes! These guys really do aim to please.

Some of the best pie I’ve ever had– and I have eaten pizza in dozens of cities across North America. Their original specialty pizzas are so good I can’t pick one as a favourite. The chicken parmesan and spicey thai deserve special mention! Normally I’m not a fan of regular thickness dough but it is browned to perfection as it is brushed with butter and sprinkled with just a hint of Parmesan cheese… soooo tasty. The Alfredo chicken pizza with its in house made sauce is ridiculous! The prices are fair, delivery is free and they are open late the only thing I can say is that when you order on the weekend expect to wait an hour or more for delivery because they are crazy busy but they are honest about the wait time and it arrives hot so that’s ok by me because it is worth the wait!

Pizza is big in my house and after moving to Nepean we were anxious to try the local places. Mr. Mozzarella’s pizzas are delicious and they certainly live up to their name with lots of gooey, yummy cheese on top of the pies!

Although this is chain pizza, it’s the best chain pizza I’ve had. It’s tasty, consistent, and this branch offers fast service and delivery. It’s our go-​to for quick and easy!

Pizza places are a dime a dozen. But that also means there are a lot of bad pizza places out there. Everyone says pizza is cheap, but finding a good pizza for a good price is not always easy. I, for one, suggest Mr. Mozzarella. There are three locations in Ottawa, but the one I know well and will vouch for is the Woodroffe location. It’s tucked away in a mini-​strip mall and not necessarily easy to find. You have to be looking for it to find ti, but once you do you will be very happy. For walk-​ins take advantage of their slices. They are a good size and nothing short of delicious. Speaking about their pizzas as a whole, they are great and have original flavours to say the least. I encourage everyone to try the pizza that tastes like an all-​dressed hamburger. «Bacon Double Cheeseburger» pizza from Pizza Pizza is goo, but it doesn’t taste like a hamburger. The pizza from Mr. Mozzarella really does taste like an all-​dressed burger. It’s amazing. The staff are always nice when you walk in and I have yet to have an issue of waiting an extended period of time for my pizza. Next time you’re thinking of a place to order some za form, try these guys, I doubt you’ll regret it.
