Zellers

If you get fooled into the clearance signs for Zellers, this location is a complete miss!!!
Since this store is closing in what I believe is February 2013, Zellers has not put much effort into stocking the shelves, and the selection is not great at all, especially if you come here looking for Christmas decorations. They have 40% off some Christmas items, but again, the selection is not great, just a lot of leftovers.
The makeup aisle was a mess, and there was hardly any stock.
On a Wednesday evening, they had about 5 cashiers on, so the lineups were not that bad.
The store was messy, very run down, and dark, but this location normally has been in the past anyways.
I’d skip this location, unless you are looking to buy the store’s light fixtures and shelves, because apparently they are selling those too!

This store is really gross and disgusting.
When I moved here from Chicago, I thought Zeller’s would be like a Target — similar colour scheme and department store ownership (Target used to be part of Marshall Field’s before it spun off and Marshall Field’s became Federated). Instead, to me it looks like a really cheesy K-​Mart.
Someone really needs to burn this place down! I just sent a not to Zeller’s telling them they should either re-​vamp it or close it if it is underperforming.
