We were very pleased with WMovers and thrilled to support a women’s moving company — they came referred via a friend on facebook who spoke highly of them… we really appreciated their prompt estimate — they came to us to give a free estimate which we appreciated and we liked that they offered a senior’s discount as well… Our move went well.
We highly recommend them and recommend a couple things to communicate and watch for… if you’re moving artwork/​framed paintings make sure to ask them to bring lots of blankets to cover/​pack them properly as we found they weren’t prepared for the amount of art we had to move… they didn’t bring enough coverings to protect them in the truck… also… they took a very long time to move a couple big items down from our upstairs — they didn’t bring the proper tools to take off a hand bannister and thus we had to pay for that extra time…
We appreciated that they worked together well and as quickly as they could and were careful moving big/​precious items…
All in all we were very pleased with their professionalism and hard work… and we also really appreciated that they take donations — items we no longer needed that were passed on to those who do need them… they even took items from our neighbours during our community garage sale… :o)
