I took Jan’s class and it was great.
While she didn’t serve any delicious food or drink that I like to review about on Unilocal she did serve up some extremely tasty learning.
She creates a structured fun learning environment.
You get a showcase at the end that is the best environment to get out and try your new skills. TONS of fun too!
Not only does she have talent, experience, and a great ear for comedy, she has a support network for you as you leave should you want to continue on as a comedian. If you suck, and need to be slapped around… she will do it! In a way though that is kind hearted and nurturing.
I’ve learned a lot about myself through her class, as well as made some great friends from it.
Jan is like… my comedy momma! Stop thinking about taking her class and just take it.

I took two courses at Laughter Zone 101 with Janice Bannister and all I have got to say is it was one of the smartest moves I’ve made in the Stand Up Comedy world. People say you can’t learn how to be funny and I must disagree with them. Taking Stand Up Comedy lessons was the factor that helped me to accomplish in less than 6 months with hard work and dedication what took years for some other comedians to learn.
The class was very dynamic. A lot of fun! Very clean and professional. AND at the end you will have your chance to perform onstage in front of a very awesome and supportive audience. Full house!
It’s worth the investment.
