There food is amazing. The waitress was very friendly. Also ask for their lunch special which apparently is not on their menu. It costs about $ 10 plus taxes for a souvalaki, rice pilaf, pita bread, salad and the sauce. The view from the seating area is beautiful during daytime. They also have a bar

Food was amazing. Loved the view of the river. Will definitely be back but would like to see the servers smile more. They seem a little stuck up and annoyed. Hope they realize that the nicer they are, the better their tips will be. Anyway, the prices and décor are better than across the street at Stefanos or whatever it is called. Pick this place if you are having trouble deciding between the two!

The food is good and the service is good. Everytime I come here I’m with one other person and they always ask me if I have a reservation but I never do and I get seated right away. The restaurant is big. I like how it’s decorated. There is a bit of a view during the day. I wish they still had the fried zucchini sticks.

Pretty good. Although it’s right along Columbia St., it’s not obvious that it’s there. In fact, I’ve probably walked past it numerous times without realizing that it was a restaurant! It’s got very modern décor and has a stunning view of the waterway! The servers here are very friendly and the food is great! Had the Original Greek Chicken(16.50), and found it to be grilled perfectly! Was juicy, tender, and had just the right amount of Salt and Lemon to it!

I am not a big fan of Greek food, but my friend and I got sent away from another restaurant because they were full, so we wandered in here. We both really enjoyed it! Good prices with huge servings. I had the grilled calamari(really tender!) and spanakopita, the two appies were plenty to fill me up. My friend had the fried calamari plate — I tried some of hers and they were really tender and crispy. The only thing we did not really care for was the red sangria we ordered — it didn’t seem to have any alcohol in it, which I guess explains the low price(I think it was only $ 13 for a pitcher). The place had a bit of a weird vibe, it looks like a nightclub/bar type of place when you walk in, which kind of throws you off. But they have really nice seating with a view of the river.

I really enjoyed my meal here. Despite having driven along this corridor numerous times, I never noticed that there was a Greek restaurant. In the mood for something non-Asian, I turned to my trusty Unilocal app which guided me here. I got their roast lamb which came with rice, potatoes and a Greek salad. I wish there were more potatoes, though. I love the lemony goodness that is on it. The lamb came in a bit of a blob on the plate. I was expecting to see some bone, but this just made it easier. However, I found the whole dish rather salty. The portion was very generous and I took half my meal with me home. We arrived just before the dinner rush and were met with great service. We were seated in the corridor that overlooked the Fraser River. While not the best view, it was nice to watch the sunset as we ate our meal. If I’m ever in the mood for Greek again, I’ll be back.

Best Greek food I’ve had and our group of 11 all loved our dinners. The roast lamb and Greek potatoes were the best ever!

Came here for dinner and got a table with a great view of the sea wall. Great ambiance and interior. Ordered spicy calamari, chicken souvlaki dinner and this entrée with meat loaf. Bill came to $ 43 before tip. Spicy calamari was nicely done — crisp and lightly battered, not oily and had a very nice level of spice — a must try! I found my chicken souvlaki to be on the dry side as it had a very nice char but I would have preferred less char and more juicy succulent pieces of meat. Hubby had an entrée(don’t remember the name) with meatloaf/meatball and they were nicely flavoured with different spices and very tender and juicy. All entrees served with well done fluffy rice, greek salad, potatoes and pita. Will definitely come back. Great place for a date.

The wife and I have been here a couple of times. We love it here. It doesn’t get too busy, the décor is nice(especially the windowed area at the back overlooking the river) and the food is amazing. We love Greek food and were delighted to discover this restaurant. There’s a couple of very nice servers here too. I highly recommend going if you’re a fan of Greek food.

Here’s what I liked: –Food amazing. I had the chicken ribs combo and my friend had the garlic prawns. Absolutely wonderful –Cheap but good bottles of wine. I can certainly can recommend the $ 22 bottle of Hardys Riesling Gewürztraminer –The view of the Fraser River is amazing from the back. Here’s what I see needs improvement –The Tzatziki sauce needs more cucumber or something to make it tangier. It tasted. off? –The candle holders need to be replaced with the round glassed ones as the wind from the open windows blows them out very easily. Other than that, this is a wonderful restaurant and worth driving to if you’re not from New Westminster.

This used to be my favorite Greek restaurant in New West but now they are trying to be the Greek cactus club, the portions have gotten smaller and you pay more. The salad no longer contains kalamata olives, they are just using one olive on top as a garnish instead they fill it with cheap foods like green peppers and tomatoes. I guess the economic crisis in my forefather’s country is affecting the quality of Greek salad around the world. This seems to be the new trend that I’ve noticed at alot of Greek restaurants, just garnish salad with one olive on top, what a rip off the customer is still paying the full price. Not impressed. Being a full blooded Greek-Cypriot I know that real horiatiki salata is Olives not 1 puny olive as a garnish. Next time I got there I will complain about the one olive. Overall the food is good I just can’t stand trickery. Keep charging $ 8.99 for a $ 2.99 salad that lacks olives and people will stop ordering it.

After a trip to Greece last year we came in for dinner . The food here was better than we found in Greece. This time net up with a couple of old friends. The new interior of the restaurant is outstanding. The view can’t be beat and the food is better than in Greece. The roast lamb is outstanding.

I have not been to this place in over ten years and the place changed! Frankly I liked the older set up — a bit messy but felt quite cultural and cozy. Anywho, I am not deducting any points for that because it is quite clean, modern and open and some may like it. It still has an amazing view of the river and they were very accomodating to our goup of 10. Anywho, I really liked the spicy calamari — it had the perfect kick and went well with my beer. Everything from chicke souvelaki and lamb souvelaki were pretty good eat — not over done and dry but flavorful. My second favorite after spicy calamari was their humus — super garlicky but very good. It had a nice roasty aroma followed by thick creamy chick pea flavor. It was a bit on the salty side but went well with pita.

We arrived at just before 6 and left just before 8. I’d give a review on the food itself but it never showed up. We did have an appetizer of calamari which was OK but nothing special. By the time we cancelled our order I had a look around the restaurant, which was now full, and not one table had food on it. Seriously, not one. I thought we would have had our bill for the appy and diet cokes taken care of due to the lengthy wait as a goodwill gesture but not so. So it cost us $ 15 for that and $ 5 to park and we still had to go home and eat. We also have children so a night out with friends is rare these days and we had this night planned for some time. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

What the shit did I just eat? I ordered roast lamb and it came out looking like pulled pork! Pulled pork? Yes, pulled pork. The lamb was not one beautiful piece of meat, instead it was shredded, with no bone, and I imagine picked up with a pair of tongs from a heated silver plate. This was no where near what Greek food should taste like. If you want real, authentic good Greek food check out Greek fellas on the other side of the bridge in Surrey.

Honestly, the pork ribs I had were too dry but our waitress was SO nice and SO accommodating to our never-ending requests, I rated 5 stars. To me, the restaurant’s food can be average but the service can make up for it to be a great experience. The view from the back section of the inlet was stunning. I would recommend this hidden gem just for the awesome view. Great job, and will be back!

One thing that’s really great about any restaurant along this stretch is that there is a really nice view. I’m always paranoid about landslides when it comes to places built on steep hills, but nothing happened today. Free parking is available a few blocks away. Or you can throw money away at the meters if it’s before 2000. The restaurant is split into 2 major areas, joined by a long narrow corridor. It is this corridor where you get the money view. The staff were friendly. Special mention goes to the Volkan Greek beer. It has a touch of honey, and was very good! The lamb souvlaki I had was also quite delicious, though the chunks of meat were a bit on the tough side. Maybe they cooked it a bit too long. Flavour was good though. Can’t really go with that. The night I went(Sunday), they had a belly dancer. She was friendly and talented, and maybe times have changed, but a few of my friends decided to hide in the corner away from her. I know she’s just doing her job and it’s all good fun, but not everyone likes to be bugged while eating. Overall a good experience, though that belly dancer may not be for everyone.

Very friendly staff, from greeting us at the door to sitting at the bar until our table by the window was cleared. Server and bus staff all treated us with a warm, welcome attitude. We alerted them that we were trying to make it to a live show and our meals arrived in a timely fashion without seeming rushed. Food was awesome and topped off by a live belly dancer. All in a great experience. My prawns were good, but just a little overdone. This is the only thing holding me back from a 5 star rating. I will be back

I love the renovations they’ve done since the last time I ate here. They’ve removed the clutter while retaining the Greek atmosphere(such as artfully aged murals) and adding modern elements like the glowing blue bar counter. And you can’t beat the view of the Fraser River and Pier Park from windowside tables in the solarium section, although it may give you vertigo to realize you’re being suspended over a cliff by a series of pillars that go a long way down to the ground. However, the food is solid — great Greek classics done just right. Tender souvlaki, warm pita bread, calamari the perfect blend of chewy and crunchy, and generous sides of potato and rice. They have belly dancers on weekends, and incidentally, it’s probably one of the closest restaurants to my front door. I should become a regular.

Pretty impressed with the way they handled our team lunch. Everything was ordered ahead and they had that food ready for us. Hot, tasty. Nothing too heavy. I live in the area and make pretty solid greek food… so it’s hard to impress me… but should I find myself being particularly lazy one night I might just head back! Ambiance is nice! Not your typical greek décor. Nicely styled.
