We eat here EVERY time we visit New Westminster! Sometimes we will come here twice in one weekend. Our favorite dishes are the papaya salad, massaman curry with tofu and extra vegetables, and spicy fried rice with green beans. This place is usually empty(no idea why) so it’s so easy to get a table. Every dish is so flavorful and delicious, ask for a spice rack to add more heat to each bite!

Nooooooo… I ordered my usual red chicken curry recently and it seems they have started using some weird processed chicken in their dishes. I can’t even call this real chicken it was so bad… almost like the spam equivalent of chicken. We had to throw most of it out. I’m scared to try this place again. I’m so sad as this was my favourite Thai place in New West. I would have reduced my rating to one star but the rest of the dish was flavourful and the pad thai was good.

Really cute restaurant! I always like to come here for lunch, they have a great lunch special menu. Love all the eggplant dishes here. Recommend!

This is the best Thai restaurant we have found in the lower mainland and the only place we go for Thai food now. Their curries are to die for(Panang, Massaman, Green) & noodles are delicious too(we always order spicy noodles basil). Yes, the service can be inconsistent, but always friendly & the food is worth it!

I have stopped in this place a few times the food was very good, so tonight we decided let’s order for delivery, website clearly states they deliver. I called gave them my address was immediately told I lived outside their delivery area do there would be a 5 dollar charge for delivery, I live 1.2 kms away? Told them how can that be when I live only 1.2 kms away? Was told to wait a minute, when he came back on the phone I was asked what I wanted to order? So I placed my order, total would of been 27 dollars, was then told its 30 dollars minimum delivery so I would have to pay the 5 dollars because my order wasn’t 30 bucks. Seems they really want that 5 bucks for delivery ! Like I previously stated been there a few times food is good. But it’s not so good I’ll pay anything to have delivery good !!! Sorry TB2G I won’t be back and I defiantly won’t be ordering delivery. B T W I would of tipped 5 bucks anyway like we usually do for delivery.

Even though this place has been in the neighborhood for a while, it’s taken us ages to actually try it out. We ordered 2 dishes, staples as we weren’t sure how things would go. Pad Thai with chicken and Panang Curry with prawns. The Pad Thai was great. It was a big portion and had the right amount of sweetness. The Panang was to die for. Great flavor with a good amount of spice. The only thing that will keep me from coming back is that the prices seem a little high for what you get. Yes, the food is great, but it’ll be reserved as a treat so I don’t break the bank.

The place looked charming, so my son and I went in. We were sat down promptly. The place was empty and one person was waiting for take-out. Ordred our meal and waited… Waited for at least 20 minutes and the spring rolls came, then one main… Waited…Waited for 10 minutes and here is our salad(still waiting for one more main).Waiting…Waiting, at this point, Im starting to get annoyed here. I could understand if they were busy but, only a couple walked in since we arrived. Finaly, my food arrives… It’s cold GGrrrr… The food was okay, the service however not so good. The single waiter was very friendly and disorganised(he forgot the couple next to us for like twenty minutes). I’ll try this place again to see if maybe, I caught them on an off night.

Just wanna say we’ve been back several times and ordered it in. We are loyalists to Go Thai, and it is still our favourite(Sapperton) but you really can’t go wrong here. Try their massaman curry for a rich and tasty treat! We have also very much enjoyed their ginger beef and pad ped.

Fantastic Thai place. I’ve come here four times so far and find myself coming back whenever I crave Thai. The environment is nice, it’s not flashy or lounge like at all. They have the standard Thai restaurant designs and decorations. The food is what stands out. The lettuce wraps are spot on, if a little bit salty. The peanut sauce on broccoli dish is amazing. The sauce is so nice and thick and they put extra crushed peanuts on top. The green curry is also very well done. Its a little bit sweet, a slight bit salty but all delicious.

The food is delicious. We have only ever ordered in so am not familiar with the inside of the restaurant. New West has a real lack of good food and this is one I would highly recommend. My only complaint is the strict minimum delivery charges. You must order $ 25, and if you are even 3 cents under you either pay for delivery or have to order an additional item. They also only offer delivery for 4 hours a night.

I’m surprised with the good reviews. I’ve came her twice and both times it took forever to get my order and the noodles I ordered were so salty and saucy. I dont think they made anything themselves. It’s all from a can or jar. So not impressed with Thai to go :(

I got some take out here a few weeks ago on the recommendation from a friend. I wasn’t too sure about this place since it looks like a cheap take out place, but boy was I wrong… sort of. This place does do take out and it is inexpensive but it’s really good. They’ve got a fixed price dinner menu that include a main, rice, salad and spring roll for $ 12.00. The food here is pretty good. The food is flavourful and has a good level of spice as is.

Back for the third time. They got better each time around so another star is earned. Everything was full of taste and service was better this time around.

Came here for lunch with a coworker, and the food was sooo delicious! I had the pad thai and it was just simply divine! And the staff was super kind to my friend who can’t tolerate heat, so they adjusted the curry spicyness to very very mild which agreed with my friend’s taste bud. I can’t wait to come here for lunch more often! :)

It’s been a while since I ate here last spring, but remember the green curry was good, and a very orange-y décor that was a bit overpowering lol. A medium-sized easy open layout, and date worthy. Prices good too. but can attest true thai chefs, a bonus considering a handful in Vancouver are chinese-owned. They offer delivery. Nice service too. Plenty of meter parking in front. Recommend going across the stree to the bar to slurp down the chocolate milkshake for dessert, one of the best I’ve ever had ;)

DON’T LETTHESIMPLICITYOFTHEENTRANCEFOOLYOU. I was half expecting a fly by night delivery counter and was very pleasantly surprised. Actually a great little place with good prices in the heart of 6th street in New West. Nice portion sizes, great flavours and good selection. Also a very clean place with friendly and attentive staff without being invasive. I’ll be back!

From the name and design of the takeout menu, I was expecting to find an unassuming counter when I went to pick up my order, not a pretty little Thai restaurant. The saffron walls and fountains and even a little shrine came as a surprise. Anyway, I tried it out after noticing the Unilocaling from my fellow NewWesties, and you guys didn’t steer me wrong. Some pretty solid Thai going on in this Box, including a stellar papaya salad and spicy curry stirfry with fresh veggies. The prices are very competitive, with most of the menu items under $ 10 and the handful of over-10s being things like menu sets and appetizer platters(prawns also cost extra). So if you’re looking for a Thai restaurant experience at food court prices, this is as good of a value as you’ll get.
