I love tap beer, and I love the tap beer selection they have here. I also enjoy the fact they mix beer and cider as beer-tail. Food is decent, the usual pub food, but well-seasoned. Service I had by far are all very nice and waitress are all very friendly. My neighborhood to go place.

I think the Terminal Pub is a quiet gem, slowly, but exponentially gaining awareness. Their service, atmosphere, and food are all excellent. My girlfriend and I come here once a month or two for their Roadhouse burger, which is the second best burger I’ve ever had(Steamworks has the best), which is very high praise. The servers are always so nice and conservatively dressed which is a great vibe for dates, gatherings, and casual hangouts. The music isn’t very loud so you have some opportunity for conversational intimacy. For drinks they have an excellent selection of local brews, and my girlfriend always looks forward to the Black Widow cocktail they make, perhaps one of the only cocktails I’ve ever really enjoyed. Word of caution though, try to avoid sitting by the door between the fireplace and the kitchen, servers are constantly in the way, there is a tacky lottery and atm machine in that corner, the tables are uncomfortably low, and whenever people walk in you get cold draft.

Great food, atmosphere and service! Don’t let the exterior fool you. It’s well designed pub that deserves 5 stars.

This place used to be 5 stars for me. Good prices, atmosphere, and good food. But that was a while ago. This was my go to spot, but for the last, maybe 2 years, they’ve changed their menu, for the worse. I’ve tried desperately to like this place, but honestly, the poutine waffle fries are horrible, and the wings are never sauced/seasoned well anymore. It really is disappointing considering how good they used to be. There are other food choices that are not bad, but maybe I’m more disappointed than most because I know what they could be.

Ive been here a few times, and every visit seemed to vary one another. Came here on Saturday with my boyfriend for a super late lunch. We weren’t sure if it was set yourself or a hostess will seat you. There wasn’t any obvious sign, just an empty hostess podium. We thought food was good over all, but the service can be a bit better. After seating ourselves, our serve came and gave us the menus to look over. We ordered Pochachoes to start and the round house burger, and two beers to go with it. Beers came pretty quick, food quickly followed shortly after. The food was decent. the Pochachoes were definitely really good. My one complaint about the round house burger was there wasn’t enough fried onions. We had two different servers bring us our food, the server that was suppose to check on us came a few times. We ordered the Pochachoes with the Jalepenos on the side, but they came with them on. We didn’t bother saying anything, since it looked like the server was kind of too busy chatting up with some of the regulars. My boyfriend picked them off and ate them any ways.

Went here for the Wednesday night wing special and wasn’t all that impressed. A pound of wings was $ 6 and they were tiny. Probably the smallest wings I’ve ever had. The sauce was good though and their in-house made ranch dipping sauce was delicious. Our server(she had long hair) was attentive and friendly. After we received our bill, it took quite some time for her to come back around for us to pay. She did apologize for this though, more than once. While we were waiting to pay, I couldn’t help but overhear another server say something that didn’t sit right with me. She told a table near us that — she apologizes — but their bartender«sucks.» She explained that he’s new, doesn’t know what he’s doing, and mixed drinks won’t turn out well. I thought this was incredibly rude. I’m going to assume that it was the poor guy’s first day, which would explain a lot: when asked where the women’s washroom was(it’s on the other side of the restaurant from the men’s), he didn’t know, our beer had way too much foam in it(which we almost complained about), and he kept looking at his phone(which I now realize was to look up drink recipes). We’ve all been the new person at some point. Being the new person isn’t easy. You don’t know your coworkers, you’re in a new setting, and you probably still need more training. Granted, I don’t know the situation; Maybe he’s been there for weeks and hasn’t caught on yet. Regardless, you don’t vent to your customers about it. I want to give Terminal Pub 2 stars because of that incident but because our server was great and didn’t partake in any gossip, I’ll leave it at 3 stars.

The last two times I have been here I have not been impressed with the food or service. It appears to be slipping. On both occasions the burgers were not very good, to be honest. The buns were incredibly dry and the meat was simply average. The service was slow as well. I also noticed some unpleasantness from the normally easy going servers. I’m hoping the last few months have just been a bad period for the Terminal… maybe the chef quit or perhaps the servers are being overworked. I’ll try again but if it keeps up I’ll have to retract my previously good review.

Awesome food! Bacon Mac & cheese and the Terminal wings are my favorite. It’s nice to have a bar in the area that DOESN’T play top 40 garbage!

Has become a regular stop if I’m looking for a good burger and a fine pint of whatever’s pouring on their Steel and Oak tap. Service is always friendly and prompt.

I love this place! My boyfriend and I usually go on Friday nights and we always have a great time! Its typically busy and quite loud but nothing too overwhelming. They have big screens usually tuned to sports channels so I think that draws in some of the crowd. The food here is yummy!!! We have had steak, wings, poutine burger and quesadillas– all very delicious! The waffle fries are also a hit and there is enough to share from one order! The drinks are also good and they are reasonably priced! The servers are very friendly here. They sometimes stop and have a quick chat which always makes the experience even better! The pub is so clean and everythnng looks clean and new– according to the other reviews this place had a facelift not too long ago. From the outside, it looks like it would be sketchy but its not!

Hmmm. Well I came in tonight for food and a couple drinks. I had a burger and it was ok… not great but just ok. Maybe a little less than ok. The salad was good… what ever it was called. Drinks were good and service was good. My rating is so low because of the burger. It could be done better. I’ll eventually be back as the rest of my time there was not anything to complain about.

We lost our go-to-pub(Marine Pub) in a fire. We haven’t found a replacement until now. I would have given this place 4 stars if not for the location. Its surrounded by adult stores! Food is ok. I got the truffle bacon mac and cheese. I find it too rich for my taste. My 9oz pinot gris gave me the buzz. I was greedy because wines were $ 2 off that day. I should’ve gotten the 6oz. instead. My husband got the beef dip. I should have listen to other reviews. This one is awesome. I had to ask my husband for several bites of his sandwich. Service is good. Servers are friendly. I noticed we were the only Asians there. Don’t know if its a good thing or bad. I will still recommend this place.

This is a great place to go and watch some sports, eat some great food, have some drinks and joke around with the many regulars that sit at the bar. The servers and bartender are very friendly and have a good sense of humour. I recommend the pochachos waffle fry/nachos but ask for extra beans instead of the salsa… trust me, it is a magical combination.

Been in a few times recently. Great beer choice, available in a pint or a sleeve and there’s always something decent on special. Top marks for the veggie burger. This isn’t the usual frozen carpet burger — its home made and delicious.

The food was great. Really decent veggie burger and the garlic fries are to die for. We tried several cocktails and they were all very good. UFC night so it was really busy and loud so I’ll definitely try it again on a calmer night.

The Terminal is our go to place! We’ve had almost everything on the menu and there have been no duds! If you want a small meal, try the appetizer perogies; they’re made in house and amazing! My other favourite is the Beef Dip sandwich(with garlic fries) and the Terminal makes a mean steak dinner! With great selection of craft beer on tap it makes the perfect gathering place for big or small parties!!! Only downside is that you have to arrive WAY early to get a table of there is any sort of UFC fight.

For most of its history(opened in 1941), the Terminal has been known as a blue-collar bar, the kind of place where people who work on the docks, the boats and the railways would feel at home. It received a makeover a few years ago to update the look and feel and welcome the new generation of New Westers, but it’s still pretty relaxed and unpretentious. The location is not scenic, unless you’ve got a thing for industrial landscapes(and yes, dodgy sex shop proximity). But inside is a nice hidey-hole with craft beers(including ultra-local Steel & Oak rotating tap) and fireplaces and historical photos of the area. Just a nice, out-of-the-way pub for leisurely afternoon drinking.

Can you say, FANCY? SOFANCY! Don’t be fooled by its surrounding buildings and its location(there’s a sex shop nearby). When you go inside, be prepared to become a doge and say«WOW!» The fireplace makes the place look even better, but the comfy chairs and sleek tables just add to the amazing décor of this place. Now, how’s the food and drinks here? I went here on Wednesday for Wings Special. A small disappointment, their wings are like $ 11 as normal price and theyr’e soooo tiny. BUUUUT it’s pretty worth it for $ 6 on Wednesdays, so I won’t complain. The flavor is great, and their«Terminal Sauce» was nommy(their own spin on Thai flavor). Now, their poutine is to DIE for. They use Truffle Oil and it adds this really nutty, earthy flavor to the poutine that I am now addicted to. The waffle-style fries, combined with delicious cheese curds… uh oh, be right back, my mouth is watering with memory all over again. Their drinks menu is cool, but I only drank 1 beer there, so I can’t comment much on it. Will I be back? YOUKNOWIT! Especially for the Truffle Poutine…

Well, after returning several times I can safely say that many of the items on the menu are quite decent. They still fail at Yorkshire puddings, but they have great daily food specials and lots of their allies are really delish! Highly recommend the spicy edamame beans, the wings are delicious and the meat & cheese board is very good.
