Not that great for prices, tasteless tea. Tried the kamikaze roll which was really just covered in hot sauce and fish roe. Tiny for portions/size of roll(the whole roll sliced fit in the palm of my hand) and almost $ 8. Catered primarily for Caucasians. You won’t find many Asians here because the quality is really lacking and the whole tea thing is totally lost in a self-serve station and the tea tastes like cardboard soaked in drain water. Or maybe it’s white people green tea like Lipton. Mostly a successful fast food joint and good if you’re desperate and need something on the go which I did at the time. Real kudos to the employees working there. They handled weekday after 5 pm dinner rush with so much grace and poise.

I like the convenience, it’s on my way home. Service is always with a smile. If you are in a hurry, this is not a 2 minute takeaway spot. Bring something to read, because it will take about 10 to 15 minutes to prepare your food. There is seating but I’ve only done takeaway. I’ve had the Red Dynamite roll & the Crispy Crunch roll so far. Both good. But the rice was slightly overdone. But that may be a personal preference. The crab was nice and crunchy, so that was a bonus. Presentation was lovely. I would go back and see what the other menu options taste like.

I have eaten here before and it’s decent but yesterday I went with my boyfriend and within a few mins I was ill. My boyfriend was unaffected and we figure it was because he didn’t eat the ebi and I did. I felt perfectly fine until I ate here but I will not be back!

It wasn’t the easiest place to find with all the construction at the new west skytrain but when I did it was worth it! I had the salmon teriyaki. I so did not expect to be as delicious as it was. The teriyaki sauce was the same at any togo, thick but not too sweet. The miso soup was awesome! Real miso! No powdered stuff there. :) The salmon was cooked with the skin on and that makes a big difference for the flavour. It also tasted like it probably was fresh, not frozen. I chose to opt for no beansprouts and extra teriyaki sauce for the rice. The restaurant is clean too. And can’t forget the free tea and water. :)

The equivalent of fast food in the sushi world. Quick and blunt service, a lot of takeouts, the food is ok, but obviously not very fresh, and rigidly portioned and organized. I appreciate the fast sushi hustle, and always drop by when i crave sushi and want it now, but i would take my date, my friends, and family somewhere else with a better vibe. I like that they know their situation and are not pretentious at all.

We frequently get Sushi from this place as it is close by and offers good vegetarian options. I usually get the vegetarian combo. Their vegetarian sushi is a lot better quality than the other ones I have tried in new west so far. This is a regular joint with nothing creative. For creative takes on Vegetarian Sushi we go to Hana Mori in Coquitlam but Togo Sushi does in a pinch when we need it quick and close.

The sushi here is good/decent. The miso soup is pretty good too. Over all the service as well as food is good, but not the best. Try it out and see for yourself:). Its worth the money.

Love the chopped scallop roll with masago. The shrimp in their ebi sunomono were huge and it was only 3.50. Great prices

Had I written this review after first visit when Togo opened it would have been 4 stars but the 2nd visit prevented me from returning to Togo to eat permanently. I was served California roll with 2 very obvious black thick hairs in it. My stomach twisted and I gagged. I was not able to eat and had to pay. I have not returned and will not though I walk pass it almost every day. Hair in my meal is disgusting to me and the fact that the young men did not bother to check it before serving still makes me feel nauseated and that was a year ago. Too bad.

We went for a pre-movie dinner here — sushi is one of the kid’s favourite meals. The sushi was good — the roles, the miso, etc — and my wife had a teriyaki chicken bowl. The veggies(broccoli, etc) were perfectly steamed. So why the 1-star rating? Even though we ate in the restaurant, we got a bunch of Styrofoam and plastic. At the end of the meal, we had this huge pile of garbage, as the recycling was only for bottles, etc. Their garbage can was totally full of a bunch of unnecessary garbage. We won’t eat there again. Too bad — the food was good.

I decided to order sushi tray A to try out the assortment of sushi. I usually bring a friend and just try out different sushi places with them. Inside sushi tray A is california, dynamite, tekka, kappa, sake roll, 4 pieces of salmon, 4 pieces of tuna, 2 pieces of ebi and 2 pieces of sockeye salmon. I like how it’s close to the New Westminster Skytrain station. Very convenient for people of all ages depending on where they are traveling to and from. This place also does take out, so you can get your sushi to go. Customer service is really friendly. The sushi tastes decent, but appearance-wise it tends to fall apart when you pick it up with your chopsticks.

Not the cheapest sushi place but, it is very conviently placed next to New Westminster station. I can still get 2 rolls for under 10 bucks so not the most expensive place either. The staff here are great, and the sushi is delicious. This isn’t a place to bring a large group though, there is limited seating inside, ad most of the point of «Togo Sushi» is to grab your sushi, and hop on the next skytrain.

Awesome sushi place. The people are incredibly kind and friendly, and always willing to accommodate whatever weird request I come up with. The sushi itself is very good and all the ingredients are fresh and ripe(love my avocado roll!) At one point I was going every day for lunch, but now that I am back in Toronto will have to wait till I move back out there – can’t wait!

I love my sushi and the other day I was seriously craving it. I normally go to a sushi restaurant over in Columbia Square but decided to give this place a shot. They deserve a solid 3.5 — 4 stars. I ordered a California Roll combo and Ebi Sunomono and I wasn’t disappointed. This was probably the best Ebi Sunomono I have had. I realize it’s not hard to mess this up but it was full and a decent size for the price. The California Roll combo came with 8 pieces Cali Roll and 3 or 4 Nigiri. Can’t remember exactly. All in all, the food was really good. I was disappointed that there didn’t appear to be any Miso on their menu. Now the location is small but manageable. You couldn’t really get away with calling it a restaurant as seating is VERY limited. On the up side the staff seem very friendly so I will definitely be back.
