White Spot – New Westminster

FRIENDLIEST Whitespot EVER! Seriously, the staff members here are all darlings. They’re super smiley! We asked to change seats; the guy was super nice about it and he actually GIGGLED.
For my order I requested a few substitutions, and my food was brought to me exactly as requested! No mistakes whatsoever!
As for the food, it’s White Spot. It’s predictable, but that’s what I like about it. This location is conveniently located in Royal City Centre, and it’s always bustling with seniors!

I can’t believe it either, but I am giving this White Spot location 5 stars… they did everything right. First, the drink special, $ 6 for a premium double gin & tonic. I thought this was basically a burger place, but they have a new menu with lots of creative dishes to choose from. My fiancé and I both had the crispy Asian salad… fresh and full of great flavours and textures. We also had one of the BEST servers ever… polite, attentive and very friendly. We had a $ 5 off coupon so that made the bill quite reasonable, It’s located at the Royal City Mall, and if you blink, you might miss the entrance which is tucked in right beside the front entrance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very disappointing experience. I oped to try the new PBBJ burger and what I was provided was beyond disappointing. It appeared to have been plated by a child and the burger itself was barely garnished or dressed.
Full disclosure on this review, I spoke with the waitress and a member of the kitchen, both of whom offered a new burger. I declined as experience has taught me that once you criticise a kitchen you don’t accept any more food from them.
Also the waitress and Manager removed my order from our bill as an apology which is why this review has three stars. Regardless of the service save, odds are this will be my last visit to this location.

I’m a longtime fan of White Spot and with good reason — you get what you pay for. It costs more than fast food places but you get a delicious meal, served promptly, and in a nice setting.
This particular location goes the extra mile every time. Flawless service and reliably good food, with thought given to presentation and professionalism.
The best of the best!

Great food… quick service, friendly staff… only drawback is they turn up the TV for the NHL games, if I wanted that kind of scene I’d hit up a sports bar and grill

Great location! I’ve always loved white spot. They’ve got unique flavor even the spot salad is bomb! Also, fav was an item called broccoli chicken cheese with rice. YUM. It is so different! I love eating different types of food!!! I will def recommend it.

The guy I am dating recently moved into the new hood, therefore, this is the new White Spot that we go to since it’s a few blocks from where he lives. The food is the same as I remember it to be. Same menu items and same comfort food taste. This location lacks in ambiance compared to the other more revamped WS but food is food. Service was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Have always enjoyed their food. The quality is consistent and good selection. Love their coleslaw with the sunflower seeds… and the service is always good. A place you can count on for a tasty meal.

I just thought I would give you some positive feedback that rectified a less than positive experience. I ordered a pirate pak on line yesterday… I picked it up at the time specified and everything seemed great. I discovered that my fries and zoo sticks had been forgotten, I called the store and someone ACTUALLY brought them to me at work (we are in the same mall, but on complete otherside and upstairs)…and they gave me a blueberry pie as an apology. I hadn’t opened my burger yet — I had ordered a chicken burger with bacon and cheese… what I got was a legendary beef burger. I called the store again, one because I got a cheaper burger than what I paid for and two because I knew someone else might be complaining. I told the person I spoke to that I would just eat the burger anyway and was told I would get some kind of coupon as an apology. Today i was presented, at my office, with a $ 25 Gift certificate… while there were quite a few mistakes in my order (the bill print out was exactly what I ordered) and as it was pirate pak day, crazy busy… the people went way above and beyond in rectifying the problems and definitely left me feeling like an appreciated customer… Just thought you might like to know :)

I thought I’d write a review as this is one of our favorite spots to eat lunch. The staff is great, the food consistently good and the prices are reasonable. I have been eating at the White Spot for over 40 years and although the taste is not quite what it used to be (remember Chubby Chicken) it is still better than most and if you’re not totally satisfied they will certainly make it right without question. My only complaint is for them to bring back sandwich bread for the clubhouse sandwich (what the heck are they thinking?).
