Everyone is so helpful. They have a neat little skin ID machine that helps to match foundations (colours AND brands) to your skin. I love their Beauty Insider program, it’s a definite must do… even if you don’t shop their often, you get a fun & free birthday gift (for the men too).
RETURNS: If you don’t like it/​it’s the wrong colour/​it disagrees with your skin you can return it! You of course have to do it in a reasonable amount of time, but they are so accommodating. Skin can be a sensitive issue, so it’s important to purchase your skin care and make up products from a place that understands that, and will take things back when they are not the right thing.
SAMPLES: Ask for samples! If you want to try something but don’t want to purchase the full size product, you can get a small amount in a container to try it out. This works particularly well for liquid foundation, creams, and fragrances. You often get free samples with every purchase.
SALES: They actually do have sales! You just have to go in and look or check the website. It’s 100% worth checking.

I’m shocked that I’m the first to write this review for Sephora in Newmarket?!
I am not a huge make up fan by any means and what’s great about this location is that they understand that! I am in no way hating on the ladies and gents that wear make up, in fact, I watch tutorials and ‘follow’ people who teach make up techniques & applications. But what keeps me coming back to this store is that I can walk in there with my bright red, freshly waxed eyebrows and ask for help and they won’t bat an eyelash. I could be pimpled out in my sweats and they will still treat me like a decent human being.
This weekend I needed assistance with finding an eyebrow pencil. The brow guru (I believe her name is Kristin) helped me. She knew right off the hop that I wasn’t looking for something crazy hard to apply and that I needed something as simple as it gets. She demonstrated how to apply the product and some tips and tricks for the days that I do decide to dress my face up.
On another separate occasion, I sauntered in needing an opinion between two eye shadow palettes. The rep helped me immensely and I love the recommendation she made.
These positive examples go on and on! Albeit the cost, I will continue to be loyal to this particular location as long as their customer service stays the exact same; amazing!
