I called several other larger pest control companies about a problem with flying ants in my home office. The woman at Abell told me over the phone that I should be very concerned and that I probably would have to move out of my house because the flying ants were nesting all over my house. This was after she asked how big my house was and how many bedrooms I had. I told her there were about 5 flying ants in the office. I was quoted $ 650 and was told I needed a one year program (at an extra cost) BEFORE ANYONE CAME TO MY HOUSE!!! Bryan from York Pest control came and sprayed the areas and told me it was more than likely a small localized issue. It took under an hour and he charged me $ 113.
Bryan is a nice guy, he came exactly when he said he would and he owns the business. Don’t waste your time with larger pest control companies who only care about $$$.
