If you like cheesy sets from the 1970’s /. 1980’s mixed in with modern scares this is for you. We found this place terrifying but also freaking hilarious at the same time. If you appreciate horror films of all types you’ll love this place. There are 3 level of scares and we did the middle one. Enjoy!

I went to this and the other Wax Museums in and around the Niagra Falls area. All three of them are individually themed but all have amazing work done, almost realistic. I had a few pics taken with them, however, for some of the dead guys it was obvious that it was fake. I find wax figures to be classic works of art in itself. Admission was $$$ just like the other three, however, well worth it. There is a haunted house element to this which is cool. I will admit that some things did scare me ’cause they were so close to the original thing. Also the power of mental suggestion can play tricks on you.

Interesting haunted house that offers three scare levels. Those scare levels dictate how the actors will come off with their characters and tactics. Overall, it was a decent experience. The music was classic horror movie tracks that set the stage. The haunted house was a lil too dark, didn’t offer enough props and had a confusing layout, but there was a lot of suspense and really good sound effects. My friend was freaked out the whole time so clearly the experience was effective on some level.

I don’t know why it was listed as a wax museum, it’s a haunted attraction. The good thing about this is you can choose your scare level. Weak for families or weak hearted, medium for the«brave» and the highest level where they can touch you and is considered«hardcore.» I was completely beat and not interested in going so my hubby went by himself since it was right downstairs. He got the«hardcore», said it was kind of lame. The live actors was one guy who touched him twice and he was the only person in there and said it was really short for $ 10. He said he was glad to satisfy his curiosity but nothing he’d do again. Would be 2 stars but get an extra star for 1) letting you choose your level of scare and 2) for keeping the old school Castle Dracula sign(black, white and red one on top) from when I was a kid in the late 70’s. That was the only landmark I recognized on that street and it brought back great memories. Make sure you grab a coupon from one of the zillion coupon books floating around.
