Holiday Inn Niagara Falls – By The Falls

This is a pretty good hotel. Some things to note. The hotel is smashed in between two restaurants. Park in front to check in, get your keys and parking pass. The parking is in a very packed lot in the back.
Once I found a spot to park, I did have a hard time finding the entrance due to poor lighting. The hotel is definitely aging. Doors & walls look old, the elevator is something from the 80’s and the carpet is looking a little funky.
The room is pleasantly nice though. I got one of the 4 rooms on my floor that looked towards the falls. Not a «Falls View» but you can kind of see the American Falls from the balcony. The room was definitely redone recently. The bed, furniture and bathroom were really nice and clean. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioning works really well.
For the price, this was a great place to stay. The Falls are right down the road and there’s a lot of food options around the hotel. If I come back to Niagara Falls, I think I will stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend, as I was in town for a conference that was being held at the convention center. Interestingly, the rate that I was able to get on the Holiday Inn website was actually cheaper then the discounted conference rate.
The hotel was centrally located — at least in comparison to the convention center, a number of restaurants, and the falls themselves.
Our room was quite nice, and we were able to get a small fridge brought to the room for only $ 10 a night. This helped a great deal, as both my wife and I were on a specific diet while we were in town.
We would definitely stay here again if we were back in the area.
