The shop is without a doubt a tourist trap, and the prices are quite high, but I LOVEFUDGE and the fudge is good, so I’m still going to recommend the place just for that. Walking in from a freezing January day in Niagara Falls, The Fudge Factory provided delicious respite!

I think this is just a tourist trap, really. It is in the main drag of things and looks cool, however the fudge is terrible. I don’t know if we got older pieces, but it is dry and doesn’t have that creamy, good taste. There is an AWESOME fudge place in the shop where the Hornblower is. I need to call and order more of that. This was a disappointment after that.

For the fact that the place is called fudge factory I would think there would be a whole lot more options of fudge. There was a cute area on the left side where they fudge was actually being made(which is nice to see that its fresh made) but then most of the store was filled with a lot of taffy, maple flavored everything and other candies. Then once you get to the register there is the option of about 15 or so flavors of fudge. Overall pretty underwhelming and the few fudges I did taste were pretty dry and not as creamy as others I have tasted. Passing this one, even Hershey’s had tastier fudge.

Do NOT get the macaroons! They were hard as a rock and seemed to have sat there for days. It was practically inedible. However, I also got the chocolate dipped waffle stick and that was really good. The prices in this place is not cheap, so unless you have a sweet tooth while you’re here, I wouldn’t really recommend it.

I don’t know if we just got bad luck but the fudge we purchased was old and stale. Total tourist trap. Spend your money elsewhere.

I tried the plain chocolate and Canadian maple fudge. Both were as good as my favorite fudge shop in Mackinac Island. Creamy and delicious. The prices are decent too. You can watch them making fudge in the front window of the store throughout the day. They have much more than just fudge; various chocolates and all types of candies and treats. It’s right in the middle of the Clifton Hill area where there’s a ton of restaurants and attractions. It’s a great place for kids or anyone who loves fudge and sweet treats.

Tried the chocolate, dark chocolate, Irish cream, raspberry, and walnut fudge! What a sugar rush… walnut one is by far the rockstar of the bunch!

I like it here. It’s bright, well-lit, and decorated as you would expect a candy shop to be. I had the chocolate bark.

Its fudge and they make it there, what else do you want?! Right on what I like to pretend is the main strip of niagara falls, this store has some of the best fudge going for it. Free samples aplenty for those of you whom aren’t sure which one to go for. I’ve been here a few times and every time I leave without getting anything, I am thinking about why I didn’t get anything the entire trip home. Enjoy!

What a tourist /children trap! You walk by this extremely colorful shop with it’s wide open doors, stacks and stacks of candy and chocolate and there is nothing you can do to stop yourself from going in. And once you are in — you are hooked! You will not be able to leave without out making some type of purchase. My bf and I ended up getting the waffle cone rolled in caramel and dipped in chocolate. AMAZING! If I could go back right now and get one I would! We also got some type of brownie(his pick not mine) that I didn’t really like. There was a layer of buttercream inside and I am not a buttercream fan. Lastly we had the candy apple chips. They are basically the outside hard candy of an candy apple without the apple. Another DELICIOUS pick!

Great location and good pricing. They offer a lot of choices and fudge is really good.

Decent fudge shop, especially given its location at the epicenter of the tourist drag in Niagara. Some of the flavors are crazy sweet — like the oreo cookie and raspberries n’ cream — but then others like the chocolate mint are excellent and totally worth a buy. A slice of fudge runs about $ 6.

Pretty much if you have chocolate, then I will like you. It’s just that easy. As far as fudge goes, they have every kind you can imagine. I’m talking peanut butter, oreo, strawberry, mint, dark, milk, turtle, and the list goes on and on. This is definitely a touristy spot and one the kids will love. If you have diabetes, this is probably not the best place for you. Or if you are on a steady weight gain like me and have no business doing so.. .
