This Tim Hortons is way better than any Tim Hortons in Toronto!!! The location is very big, the service was perfect! The coffee does not taste burnt(like the ones in Toronto). The breakfast sandwiches do not taste dry. Overall this is a good place for breakfast.

In my experience Tim Hortons has provided some of the slowest service I have experienced, which was also the case at this service plaza. On a positive note, the staff were extremely polite.

Not sure if they have Dunkin’ Donuts in Canada but this place is rather similar to Dunkin Donuts however the donuts are not typical Dunkin. They are everything that their US equivalent could be as far as donut quality as these were a step above what I am used to. The staff was very friendly and courteous also. We enjoyed a great treat!

6÷29÷15: So we just finished taking pictures of the falls at dawn. My first breakfast at Horton’s was horrific so I figured Burger King ought to be a zillion times better. The one across the street had huge letters on the side of the building saying«Open 24hrs.» But when we got to the door there was a sign hanging above the porch saying«we’re closed.» Wow. What a sad sad lie – open 24hrs my ass. Way to represent America stupid Burger King. Anyway we spied this Horton’s with a smaller sign saying open 24hrs and it’s no lie!!! So we got breakfast again. Different items… 1. Bagel Belt Meal C$ 5.79: My gf elected for their pretzel bagel. The bagel is alright but the salt is a little strong. Eggs are horrible. Very dry. Far more dry than McDonalds. The hash browns were stale and soggy. 2⁄10 2. Sausage Biscuit Meal C$ 5.19: Wow… The biscuits were black BURNT!!! Same horrible eggs. The sausage wasn’t as dry as the last Horton’s but we’re still only a step above cardboard. Same soggy hash browns. 1⁄10 Seriously Canadians, what gives? These Horton’s are more prolific than McDonalds in America!!! How can you possibly popularize such horrible fast food??? I would have given this place a 1⁄5 but since they did save our lives after Burger King tried to ruin our morning… 2⁄5 Oh and it is nice they have wifi. I only get 150mb data with my att international plan. #fastfood

Oh, Canada. Where else can you get a sandwich and make it a combo by adding a donut? Madness! Tim Hortons is kind of like the lovechild of Dunkin’ Donuts and Subway. It’s got the sandwiches and donuts of a DD with the taste of a Subway. It’s not gross, per se, but you wouldn’t go out of your way to eat there. It’s possibly ever so slightly higher class than either of them as well.

Quite busy during peak hours(lunch or early evening) but the line goes fairly quickly. They have a good amount of booth seating, but also take note that the washrooms are located downstairs on the lower level

It’s pretty ok, nothing spectacular. It had a very Dunkins Donuts feel with a touch of Canadian Maple. The location is perfect, right next to the Falls and it’s nice and clean. T

Maybe we caught the WHOLE store on an off day??? We arrived a little after 11am to have lunch quick. They seemed unorganized. Maybe the transition between breakfast and lunch was hard. I ordered a bottle of water with my meal and it wasn’t with the rest of the order when we sat down. Had to go up and grab it. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with no tomatoes and told them to add the onions and the cashier typed in as said. It even said that on the receipt. I received the sandwich without onions. Went back up and the coffee runner told me that it was an extra charge. Then why did the cashier ring it up the way I liked it??? Without charge??? So it was a confusing task for them to cut the onions. I angled myself to see the kitchen in back because they told me that someone was cutting them. The guy that was in the back did so, without gloves(shame on you), and seemed to not know how to walk them over 5ft so that they can finish making my sandwich. I saw him panic for a minute or so and he used his bare hands(shame on you again) to throw a handful of onions onto a sheet of paper and slips it into a bin on the prep table. Both coffee’s that were ordered were very watery and super sweet. Is this a Canadian thing? The cashier was grumpy. The coffee runner and the woman making my sandwich seemed displeased that I wanted something that I ordered. Basically shoved the sandwich back into my hands and was like HERE. How hard is it to read the screen? Never Again!!!

Canada. You lucky bastards! Tim Horton’s was so delicious that we ate breakfast here twice during our three-night stay in Niagara. The donuts are incredible and not what you’d expect from a chain. My favorite was the Honey Crueller, which just melted in my mouth. The chocolate glazed, strawberry cheesecake, and apple fritter are also highly recommended! The first time we were here, we had breakfast sandwiches which weren’t so great. The turkey sausage on a biscuit was dry and flavorless. The donuts are the way to go! The second time, we shamelessly ordered three donuts each and enjoyed our breakfast. There was a long line each time, but it moved quickly. I don’t think we waited more than five minutes from the time we got in line to the time we received our food. Tim Horton’s has started to creep over the border slowly in places like northern New York, but has yet to reach the midwest. Maybe someday!

Another well run chain of Tims. This place is quite packed all the time as its in the middle of Clifton hill and if its a long weekend you will have to hunt for a seat. The service is quite fast and they keep moving the traffic exceptionally well. Make sure you order once to avoid lining up again. Overall, a good reasonably price quick spot to grab a bit and a coffee.

I’d never been to a Tim Horton’s before but if I could explain it to someone who’s never been I would say it’s like a Starbucks meets Dunkin Donuts meet 7 – 11. This location had an assortment of pastries and donuts, coffees, hot chocolate, sandwiches and soups. I just ordered a peppermint hot chocolate, which was heavenly! Boyfriend ordered coffee and a maple fritter which was also a lot tastier than I expected it to be. We sat by the window and enjoyed the warmth while people watching everyone in Clifton Hill. No complaints!

Yes, it’s a chain, but oh man… a chain that does it right! The staff was SUPER nice and friendly. The space was very clean and spacious. And the donut was MARVELOUS. Some places can really screw up a French cruller, but not Tim Hortons. Oh no. It was delicious. I also ordered a ham and cheese sandwich. It was acceptable. Didn’t knock my socks off, but it was perfectly edible. They even toasted the whole wheat bun for me. Overall, a great little spot for a quick bite. The whole area is filled with American fast food chains(Dairy Queen, Wendy’s, etc.), so a stop at Tim Hortons seemed like a tiny little way to patronize something Canadian.

I wish they had Tim Horton’s in Chicago. I really loved their hot apple cider. It’s the best cider I’ve ever had; great spices. So good, in fact, that we stopped at another location on our way out of town so I could have some more. Psst — they have coupon books for the surrounding attractions at this location. Tim Horntons seems like an institiution in Canada. I saw a ton of them dotted throughout my trips in Canada. Had a chance to dine in one near Niagara Falls. This location was pretty spacious. Given that this location in in the midst of a touristy area, most places would be packed. We had a group of 8, but had no problems getting two booths next to each other after staking out a few spots within a few minutes. The turnover here is pretty quick. We ordered up some BLT’s(a little on the small side, but close to what you would get in a Subway), chili with bread roll(looked pretty hearty), some timbits(yummy jelly filled and non-filled donut holes — gotta have the glazed honey maple ones). We washed it all down with their Ice Cappaccino’s(cool and refreshing). All-in all it was a good experience. Fast food, and tasty at that… Also, had a chance to grab some take out coffee at another spot in Toronto(so I can also vouch that the coffee is not bad). It would be a cool thing to see this franchise pop-up in the US sometime down the line.

At the risk of enraging the Canadians, I think Timmy’s is just OK and am not sure why there is one on every corner and everyones raves about it. I like the tiny donuts have honestly have had much better donuts. The other baked good I have had here are OK. Either way, I know I will go again the next time I am in Canada since it is the right thing to do.

Tim Horton’s is a symbol of Canada. You always hear about it when you mention the country, so when I came upon Clifton Hill, I made a beeline for the Tim Horton’s — the only Canadian chain on the strip riddled with Wendy’s, a Boston Pizza, Pizza Hut, etc. It was breakfast time so I ordered a breakfast wrap combo(comes with a hash brown and coffee). I thought the wrap was pretty bare bones — didn’t seem all that warm, and felt like it had just been slapped together. The hash brown was more flavorful than crispy, and the coffee was not especially eventful. Overall, decent service and a good stop. Also, bought two tins of ground coffee to bring back. Let’s see if our home brew does any better.

I love donuts in general, and I love Tim Horton’s donuts. It may not be an extensive variety but they sure are yummy! What makes them so special? They’re not drenched in glaze nor they’re diabetic-inducing sweet. No matter what flavor you choose, they’re perfect the way they are. My personal favorite is the«Vanilla with Strawberry Filling» and the«Powered with Strawberry Filling»(donut or donut holes). And the Iced Cappuccino was a perfect partner to my afternoon treat. Another reason I love Tim Horton is that they server other food items — soup and paninis. I wasn’t able to try their paninis, but that’s more the reason to come back to Canada. The chicken noodle soup was definitely hearty, but it was greasy. Nevertheless, it was just what I needed to warm down during a chilly fall day. This particular location is special because it’s just a couple of blocks from Niagara Falls.

Oh Tim’s how I love thee… Came in for a quick breakfast bite on the way to Bruce Peninsula. Had a very tasty bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit, and a coffee. I love how even bacon and biscuits at Tim’s aren’t gross and greasy. The staff was very nice and patient when they wouldn’t accept my visa or amex. They did accept US money since we were close to the border. –1 star for only accepting MasterCard.
