My husband and I picked this B&B just based on the 2 reviews already on Unilocal and we are so glad we did! This was our first time to a B&B, so we were not sure what to expect. We were so pleased with our experience that we cannot wait to a) come back and visit Trevor, but also stay at more B&B’s across the US when we travel. We did not have the opportunity to meet Phillip, but Trevor was absolutely wonderful. We talked about an upcoming Mediterranean trip we are planning and he was able to give wonderful recommendations based on his extensive travels. The food was SUPERB. An absolutely perfect breakfast with just the right portions. The rooms were decorated with great eye and cozy. No complaints. Our room’s bathroom was down the hall, but it was just great as well. There are only 2 rooms at this B&B so its great and not overwhelming nor are there too many strangers — just one other couple which we enjoyed speaking with during our breakfast. The location is perfect for walking to downtown, or a short drive into town if you prefer or to the local wineries. Trevor was able to give us wonderful recommendations for a few wineries and even vochers for tastings. We ended up purchasing four bottles after trying ice wine for the first time — YUM! We can’t wait to visit Trevor again! Highly recommended!

Imagine an impeccable, tasteful yet homey little house within easy walking distance of the lake and the theatre and all the best little shops in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Now add two charming and engaging consummate hosts, who have traveled the world and can engage in the most interesting and wide-ranging discussions. And finally complete the picture with a jaw-dropping breakfast served on white linen that included fresh cut fruits with sour cream or yogurt, fresh orange juice, assorted rolls, croissants, buns and muffins, hot coffee(or tea), a wonderful quiche cooked to our group’s dietary specifications, chilled steamed asparagus with herb cream sauce, smoked salmon with cream cheese, capers and red pepper confit and(save room for dessert!) finished with a home-made warm apple compote in a phyllo dough cup that looked like an open flower. Almost(I said almost) too pretty to eat. My wife and I booked both rooms at the inn, one for us and the other for my 87+ year old parents. Our hosts, Trevor and Phillip could not have been more gracious, making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. They booked dinner reservations for us in town at the local golf club that we thoroughly enjoyed with a view of the lake and a terrific menu(lamb ravioli with a goat cheese and cherry au jus; yum!). We were finished in time for an 8 pm curtain at the Shaw Festival. After checking out the next day(following the amazing breakfast) we took an easy, pleasant drive, past wineries, to visit Niagara Falls(about 20 minutes drive). It was a most perfect weekend/mother’s day getaway! In all honesty, this is the best B&B experience I have had on two continents. You will be lucky to get a reservation. I mean every word.

This is a B&B in a league of its own. A 10 minute walk from the main shopping area of Niagara-on-the-Lake, this B&B is perfect for anyone who enjoys being treated like gold and getting the best value possible. While many places rely on their location for business, Trevor and Philip have that AND the best sense of how to treat people. 5 stars is no exaggeration…
