Very nice. My horse, Mac, was huge, very much opinionated– in a fun way — so so so much fun to ride. Biggest spotted draft horse I’ve ever seen. My riding partner had never been on a horse, and was well matched as well– on a quarter horse. The ride was very nice, peaceful, full of sunlit trails through heavy woods. My only ‘thing’ that I found odd was our guide was on her phone texting most of the ride. Maybe to keep up with emails of more customers coming? Just never had a guide do that before… But she was great, explained a lot about each horses personality and history. I’d definitely recommend. Absolutely go.

We had a great time going for an hour long ride in Niagara! We found this on TripAdvisor last minute, as we were a little tired of all the tourist traps in Niagara, and e-mailed Dinah around 11PM requesting a ride for the next day at 11AM or 1PM. We were also in Canada without cell service so we requested she get back to us as soon as possible so we would know before we headed out of the hotel, and she did promptly reply around 8AM informing us she’d be available at 1PM. Based on our experience levels(we were first timers), she picked two great horses for us, Piper and Vegas, and we had a great time riding through a beautiful forest for an hour. She took snapped some photos of us together on the horses and we could tell she loved and took good care of all of her horses. Overall, we had a great time and highly recommend it!

My wife and I emailed ahead and made a reservation. A very easy process and, considering it was close to the December holidays, the owner Dinah was quick to respond. We had a fantastic time. The horses(I was on «Mack» my wife had«Brock») seemed well taken care of and even tempered. «Mack» was a bit friskier towards the end of the trail but nothing major. It is very clear that Dinah loves her horses. The trail was lovely in the snow. Wooded. Hilly. Terrain was not too challenging but might be exciting for beginners. I felt safe the entire time. Would have loved to have kept going. If you’re looking for a lovely way to spend an afternoon in Niagara on the Lake with some horses, this is the place for you.

AWESOME! We got there for an 11am ride on 10/19/2012 and it was great. When we arrived we had to fill out your standard liability form which only took a minute. It was my girlfriend and I, and 4 other people riding. The owner Dinah was really nice and once we all payed and filled our forms out she began pairing us up with our horses. She asked us all questions about our experience and matched you with a horse. She knew all her horses personalities so well and you could tell she loved them. I was rode Mack and my girlfriend rode Earl. They were the first 2 in line behind Dinah for the ride. Mack was a fat boy who loved stopping to eat and go to the bathroom. Earl was stubborn and was always taking shortcuts on the trails. Definitely matched up pretty well with our personalities. After we all got paired up we took off for a nice ride through the woods for about 45 minutes. This felt like the perfect time of year to come with all the leaves turning color and falling. It was beautiful. The horses were great and listened well as long as you were stern with the reigns. For the last stretch of the ride we galloped a bit which was a lot of fun. When we got back to the stables they lined up Mack and Earl and took pictures of my girlfriend and I and after we got off we were able to take more pictures and got to give them a carrot. Overall this was very fun and very memorable, definitely worth doing if you’re in Niagara and want to go horseback riding.

We took a late day horseback ride along the escarpment for about an hour on Thanksgiving weekend and it was amazing. You can book online ahead of time or call if it’s only a few days in advance. For $ 40 you will get a fantastic experience of riding on a wooded trail up and down the Niagara escarpment. The horses are very well kept and extremely well trained. I was paired with Piper, who’s a tank of a horse. Fallen trees, boulders, mud, creeks, he just went through it all. He was very easy to ride. At the end we even got to trot the horses for a bit :) I would recommend this to anyone.
