What a great operation! The place has a huge lot of trees to pick out and if you are there with kids they offer wagon rides, hot chocolate by an outdoor fire — a nice experience! Be forewarned however that if you drop by during a weekday as I did in the morning (11am-​ish) there will be no fire, wagon ride + hot chocolate, and they will still charge you **full price** even though there is no full service between 9am & 1pm … so check their website before you go.

If you have children, and Christmas is approaching, then you HAVE to take the kids here. It is the home of the traditional, authentic Christmas experience. It is like the movie White Christmas, but real. Thomas Tree Farm is where you go to cut down your very own familly Christmas tree. But, it is much more. You also get a hayride or a sleigh ride, hot chocolate, and homemade cookies. The prices are in the $ 40 to 50 range, but you get all the other stuff above free and on top of all that they clean off your tree for you and tie it up for transport. It is only open in December of each year, but it is worth the wait. Toss your artifical tree and take the family back in time to Thomas Tree Farm. This is a beautiful family tradition waiting to happen.
