Beachview Retreat B & B

I’ve stayed at many B&Bs, but this is the best! Julie and Eric are so caring and willing to do anything to make the stay great. They gave us restaurant recommendations and ideas of what to do in the area. Our room was cleaned and tidied each day, which usually doesn’t happen at B&Bs. Refreshments and drinks were available in the sitting room all day long. The view cannot be beat. You’re right by great outdoors activities, but just staying in the house is treat enough.
I have found my place to stay when I return to Vancouver. This is the best it gets!

This is a very special bed and breakfast. Julie and Eric are the consummate hosts. Everything is taken care of and all the small touches are there. From the wonderful and artful breakfasts to the well stocked treat bar your food needs are covered. The beds with sumptuous bedding take care of your sleeping needs. Need reservations, directions or assistance in planning an activity? Done almost before you can ask.
What makes this B & B such a stand out is the fact that Eric and Julie have all the qualities that make the perfect hosts. You are made to feel welcome, comfortable and special. Like the perfect relatives without all the drama!

We were celebrating our 4^th wedding anniversary and decided to stay at the Beachview B&B, mostly based on the ridiculous pictures of the view from the Burrard suite, as well as the solid online reviews. Upon reaching the B&B we were warmly greeted and felt right at home immediately. Heading upstairs to our suite, we were pleasantly surprised that view was actually far better in person. Sitting back and looking at the ocean, layers of hills, sun, boats and nature was truly relaxing, especially with a glass of white wine in hand.
During our stay there, we had nothing but excellent interactions with the proprietors and other guests. The breakfasts were great and recommended activities solid. The neighborhood was interesting, with a small town beach vibe, but just minutes from Vancouver itself.
Overall I would strongly recommend the Beachview Retreat B&B, especially for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the view and hospitality.
