I was looking for a reputable tattoo shop on the North Shore. There aren’t many shops and Tip of the Needle had no tattoo reviews. My artist, who also runs the place was Darryl. He was very knowledgable and made some valued recommendations. I presented him with a photo that he beautifully translated exactly the way I had hoped. His shop is clean and quiet. No loiters watching. I wasn’t looking for a new hang out, I was looking for a business and it’s exactly what I got.

I’m only giving this a five-​star because of the piercer, Stanzy. She is well-​liked and well organized and super professional. She knows what shes talking about. I’ve had 6 piercing from her without a problem.
