More customer service horror stories — I drove from Peterborough to Richmond Hill to return some blinds only to be informed they could not accept returns because«today is friends & family day and we’re just too busy». Me — slow motion head swivel sweeping across empty store, slack-jawed staff standing motionless: «Are you kidding me? I just drove almost 2 hours to get here.» Bouclair: «Sorry, we’re too busy». That was 5 years ago and I’ve never been back since.

On my huge furniture hunt I have been on lately for my new apartment, I stumbled upon Bouclair after hearing my mom recommend this home trendy outlet over and over again. I went in and understood why my mom and many others swear by this store! Right when I walked in, I saw these gorgeous tall back leather chairs. I had seen the same exact ones in other stores to go with a kitchen table, BUT to my surprise, Bouclair’s price of $ 109 per chair fared WAYBETTER than other stores’ prices of $ 250 to $ 300 per chair. And the chair was just the beginning… They have a HUGE sale right now on tons of accessories and fun things to spruce up anyone’s house, apartment or room that seems dull and boring. I spotted one of those funky leather cubes and they were $ 70 for a large one! If you don’t know what a cube is, it is an amazing thing that you can have as an extra seat, with a lid that opens to extra storage space. I would also recommend Bouclair if you are in search of linen. They constantly put items on sale and have some great bargains such as their famous«Bed-in-a-bag» for around $ 250 for a Queen size bed. Buy some items, throw in some of the store’s candles and lamps and you got yourself a wonderfully decorated living space which did not empty out your entire wallet.
