Don Valley Auto Collision

Brought my car here after an incident (see Markville Toyota review) and they were amazing. Very polite and knew why I was there.
They took my car and got someone to pick me up from Hertz (rental cars). Toyota paid for my rental car and got my car back to me within three days. The bumper looked brand new and I have no complaints!

Amazing service, and SUPER friendly staff on all levels. Very professionally run business, and fair prices. Not like several of the sketchy auto body places out there.
I had to wait weeks for custom parts to come in (but even when I searched my resources and online for the parts, I couldn’t have got them quicker myself if I tried!). Then, once they were in it was fixed very quickly — with original dealer-​like quality.

I don’t know where I would be, if it weren’t for Karin (the manager) today. I was distraught and scatterbrained after my car accident, and she was patient, walked me through my different scenarios (claim insurance, not claim etc), and allowed me to over take her desk for two hours while I tried to organize myself. I didn’t have to worry about a thing and she took care of me.
I was a crappy morning as some idiot almost sideswiped me changing lanes, my car was swerving around the road and I ended up in the shoulder on the opposite side. (I am ok!)
I was hesitant with the tow truck driver, I don’t know where he was going to take me and every km is costing you. In the end, I allowed him to take me here — this is the body shop for all Volkswagens and with legit signage everywhere I was relieved a little.
I plopped myself in front of Karin, as she helped me make a million phone calls to my insurance, asking them what happens if, and how much am I covered. Once I reached my final decision, she helped me with all the paperwork and I was on my way.
Quite possibly the labour costs and what not, might be more expensive than what another body shop would do, but the peace of mind was helpful. I guess this review isn’t as helpful as it could be, as I don’t know the cost of the repair compared to others. Sorry!
But if you’re here in the same situation as me, and your insurance is going to pay for this, make sure you talk to Karin.
