There’s nothing they can’t do. Harry and Jack are great people and true experts. Their price was more than reasonable. I’ve gone to them on numerous occasions for shirts, winter coats, suits, pants. All came out was tailored as if the original piece was made for me.

Great work. Professional tailors who actually know what they’re doing. If you buy expensive clothes, it only makes sense to use a good tailor to make any adjustments if needed.

I just needed to get some darts on my dress shirts and Harry did a fantastic job. The price was fair for the quality of work that he did for my shirts. I would happily return to this place for any alteration work I need done in the future.

Got a sportscoat altered to make it more slim fit. They did a great job, and it looks really nice after the alteration. It cost a little over $ 90 after tax(not sure how good the price is, as this is the first time I’ve had a coat altered). However, the improved look does seem worth over $ 90. Only cons are only open weekdays; no parking lot(need street parking nearby); and no credit card(they do take debit). I’ll definitely return if I need clothes tailored in the future.

I read about this place in a blog — on blogTO and recommended by many online. Paul’s Tailors is a small alteration centre near Bathurst and Wilson, a little south of Bathurst. It’s really hard to find a good tailor that knows how to get the job done right. Paul’s Tailors is owned by Harry and Jack. I only met Harry, really friendly guy. I went in to get sleeves shortened and pants hemmed. Most places I went to estimated getting this done in a week, some said two. Harry said he’d get it done in three days. Harry said if there were any problems, just to bring it back. Unfortunately I noticed one of the sleeves was a little off and I called Harry. He told me to bring it in and fixed it — within the day. Done in less than two hours and overall besides the minor sleeve issue — the suit looks amazing. Harry and Jack have also done work for a lot of hockey players and some fashion designers known worldwide, like Tommy Hilfiger and Wayne Gretzky! Would definitely recommend to a friend. 5⁄5

I took a suit in to have the jacket waistline taken in as well as pants hemmed and tapered and they did an excellent job. I’ve finally found a tailor that can do the job right!

I have been coming to Paul’s for as long as I can remember and their website says it was opened in 1981. I have gone to Paul’s to not only get suits altered in every way imaginable but to get my jeans altered too. They always do great work and do it fast. I gave in my jeans to be altered(pant legs were too long) on Wednesday at 1 in the afternoon and they’ll be ready for me on Friday(and this isn’t a rush order). Cost: $ 11.30 after taxes — you can tell me if that’s a good price or not. Granted, I don’t know a lot about tailors as this is pretty much the only place I have ever gone but everyone I know who has ever been here raves about this place. Paul’s is actually run by a two guys named Harry and Jack who are brothers so don’t go in there asking for Paul although I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens on a regular basis. I have no idea who«Paul» was/is but my mom, who has lived in this neighborhood since the 50s thinks that they bought the business from someone named Paul. When I go in to get my jeans tomorrow maybe I will ask them. I like this place and have always gone here and probably always will as long as I’m in Toronto. The only time I have ever gone elsewhere is I am buying something from a place and they do the tailoring on-site as part of the cost of the item. If you need some tailoring done, check them out. They DONOT take credit cards but do take cash, debit, or even cheques(yes, I was surprised to see the sign in there too that said that but it did). One thing to ‘watch out for’ is the fact that if you walk out of their change rooms in only boxers the whole store will see you and because they leave the doors open on nice days, the whole Bathurst Street might see you too. This last part isn’t so much a review as it is a reason to affirm the awesomeness of this place: As per their website where you can see scans of the pickup tags signed or pictures with one of the proprietors of a whole slew of big name pro athletes(mostly hockey players, a lot of them out-of-towners). I am not saying I have ever seen a ‘celeb’ in here BUT I will say that if/when these guys are in town and need something done that they make their way up to North York to get stuff done by this little shop says something. There’s even a signed picture of Tommy Hilfiger saying that Paul’s owners Harry & Jack are«his tailors in Toronto» but who knows how many other places someone like Tommy Hilfiger has written that for. I’d like to believe though, that it is a sign of the sheer awesomeness of the place.
