Pino Bakery

My family discovered Pino Bakery about two months ago… yeah… we have all gained many lovely pounds since then! But there is absolutely no self-​control when it comes to Pino’s amazingly tarts, perfectly balanced cakes, and small indulgent pastries. I have sampled the majority of his treats now and there is nothing that is not PERFECT! Even better, his prices are unbeatable! I mean: A whole chocolate cake loaf for $ 8??? And the best one you will have in your whole life, at that??? Amazing!

I work around Wilson/​Avenue road and every time I walk south on Avenue, I can smell the delicious baked goods steps away from the shop.
Everything is made fresh and the guy that operates the shop is a pleasant man. His pastries are AMAZING! I especially love the Chocolate Eclairs. They go for $ 12 for a dozen but it’s worth every penny. Although, you can only get the eclairs on Friday and Saturday’s.
He has a variety of other baked goods such as chocolate or coconut rum balls (seasonal), lemon and raspberry tarts. All very delicious and reasonably priced. additionally, he has an assortment of cakes that he displays for sale and will make custom cakes.
If you are around the area, it’s worth popping in to see what he has for the day!

Drove by there on Saturday. Something just drew me in — and then I realized. This place is real. Rich, gorgeous aroma of buttery goodness in this bakery (no oily smell), just pure butter, always a good sign. Mmmmm. Bought a pumpkin pie — crust was crisp, not doughy, just thick enough and the filling — smooth, not too sweet and perfect mélange of spices. This place is REAL. Totally agree with the earlier reviewer.
