I was there on Friday afternoon around 2 pm their office was closed. I called and they said someone will be there in 20 min. No one showed after 30 min. Today(Monday) I was there 8:30 am it was closed I called they said we open at 9 am. Okay I came back at 9:30 again it was closed. I called and they said we open at 10 am. Are you kidding me. Don’t waste your time.

So I went to this place because I needed a notary to sign a document and felt why not give this place a chance. Pros: they require no apportionment and the day that I went was so cold there was no waiting line. They are near the Sheppard subway station if you are taking public transit. Cons: no free parking. I parked in the green lot behind the building for $ 4. The notary cost was ~ $ 50 for one signature. I think that is steep for what is basically having someone verify that it was me signing a document. Bottom line is that this place is convenient(most notaries are downtown) but you will pay for it.

I used this service last spring to get some paperwork notarized for work purposes. It is across the street from the Sheppard Centre, making it easy to get to by TTC(Sheppard station). There is also a passport office across the street(north on Yonge). The notary was friendly, efficient and helpful. The office is up a narrow flight of creepy stairs, and it is sparsely furnished except for the consultation office. Obviously bring all your paperwork(forms, supporting documentation, etc) with you, but also bring photo ID. You’ll have to sign a waiver saying that the notary is acting only as a notary, and not a lawyer. All applicable fees are posted on their website and I paid with exact cash.
