avoid the extended warranty! Been struggling with service on my dishwasher. Once the friendly salesperson has your money, they treat you like dirt. After 5 service calls, they are now blaming my plumbing, and refusing a replacement. They outsource the warranty to a company that truly doesn’t care. I will never shop at the brick again.

We ordered a bed frame that was out of stock. We were told that the bed frame would be delivered in two weeks when it came in. When I called because we had not received any information from The Brick that week we were told that it would be almost 3 more weeks from the original date they told us. When I called the woman seemed to not care that nobody had called us. This was after spending quite some money. I will not be back.

I’m not usually a fan of these«big chain» stores — especially for finding furniture but b/c of new house matters, I was pretty much forced to go pick out my appliances from this store b/c my developer probably got a good deal from them and vice versa. Of course, in any new home, they give you the most basic appliances ever(I get that) — ie: your oven given does not even have a convection function. At least when I went to pick stuff out, I found out that all my things were stainless steel appliances by default. In any case, I was looking to possibly upgrade my fridge and my stovetop. My first salesperson, Reza, was nice INITIALLY introducing himself. When I started asking him about upgrades and stuff, he was really reluctant to show me other varieties available until I actually asked him multiple times if we could go outside of the show room(pictures shown below) to the actual store. In any case, as we were walking through the place and he was showing me stovetops, he pretty much pointed at one model and I asked him if there were any others, and we walked along and each one he pointed to, he said, «but that’s realllly expensive». When he gave us the costs of the upgrades, I then questioned him about the discrepancy of the difference of the prices listed and he then basically said that I couldn’t use the current sales price and had to use the retail price and subtract my appliance credit from it. Initially I really didn’t understand and asked him why and he just got ruder and ruder and more and more abrasive. He seriously had a lack of utter respect for me and he made me feel like I was wasting his time. While I was ready to just pay that price, his rudeness just made me want to give my business to someone else. When I told him I wanted to find someone else, he shoved the appliance papers back at me and snarkily said, «Ok fine, thanks. Have a good day.» And that’s when I met Vivienne Xu. Vivienne, on the contrary, was very professional and courteous the whole time. She broke down everything for me, patiently explained to me why I was paying that price, and pretty much made everything transparent and I knew exactly why I was paying that price. She spent a good 30⁄45 minutes with us and was full of smiles and extremely helpful. I have nothing negative to say about her and I really seriously hope that management reads this and compliments her on her customer service. Really, at the end of the day, both Vivienne and Reza presented the exact same prices. The main difference is that Vivienne was friendly, respectful, courteous, and patient. And Reza was exactly the opposite of all that. So when two people present me the exact same things, and are working on commission, I’m obviously going to give the nicer person the dibs on it. While Reza has scored a mighty 1⁄5 stars for the Brick, luckily, he had Vivienne to save the day because she earned an awesome 5⁄5 stars for customer service and thus, she saved the day, by averaging my Brick experience back to 3⁄5 stars. Also, as a side note, I took a stroll around the furniture section… totally, utterly not my type.

I dropped by this particular location of The Brick since they have a commercial sales department. Wandering around and trying to get a salesperson that is available is not easy! Maybe it was a Sunday and none of the salesperson has a tag of them, so I might even look like one myself. The selection here is a little overpriced but I guess there’s always the practice of marking up and giving one a discount?! But I love to browse around the model kitchens. while I daydream about my «Dream» Kitchen until I saw the price tag… I finally tracked down one of the sales and everything seems to be run smoothly… PS As for the furniture selection… Definitely not my taste…
