Flowers did arrive ahead of Mother’s Day. But they were half alive. By Mother’s Day they were pretty much dead. Called to complain and was not taken seriously. We were told to email to the manager, which we did. A week later there was still no response whatsoever. Ironically there was a label on the packing that they would like to get feedback from customers because they thrive on providing the best service, etc, etc. I guess their idea of service is just not aligned with the public at large!

A Bloom with NOFLOWERS! On Valentine’s Day it’s a day that you try to celebrate your appreciation of your significant other. It’s NOT a day you should be making apologies to them. I ordered a dozen roses with a teddy bear a week ahead of the date, valued at $ 70 + $ 14.99 shipping cost. It did not arrive on the 14th, a message was left in the evening of that day. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they wanted my business. Next day the 15th no deliveries or replies to my call. The 16th on my weekend I call, an excuse that it was delivered by leaving it unsafely at the front door on the 14th. I demanded a refund and was given it at least, I hope. NOAPOLOGIES were issued or any amends to the distress they caused at anytime during the call. So what’s wrong with this situation you may ask? Failure to provide goods and services, the very goal of a business. (1) NOTRACKING, if it is delivered or not, a consumer may never find out if it arrived. I found out the worst possible way. Call from the significant other that they received nothing on V-day. DREADFUL! (2) NORETURNCALLS from the client. I call because I need to know if the good and service are on the way or else I can make alternative arrangements. Makes your client completely HELPLESS! (3) BLAMETHECLIENT, starting your conversation by saying the flowers were delivered is a bad idea. Obviously, if they were delivered why would I be calling and why did you NOTRETURNED the previous calls. (4) NOTFOLLOWINGSTOREPOLICIES, «If the recipient is not available at the delivery address specified, we will typically leave the order with a neighbor or in a safe place at the delivery address.» Her door is less than a meter from the sidewalk and no phone call was ever made to the recipient. Toss the flowers and go. UNSAFEDELIVERY if they EVER delivered in the first place! Based off my experiences, I would NOTRECOMMEND this business for anyone. A HIT-OR-MISS model in getting your goods and services to your clients is bad business idea especially when you charge a $ 15 premium. NOT returning a call is also totally unacceptable. I’m not particularly an angry person usually but delivering flowers is a timely business, they need to be delivered on time and safely. I spent a great deal of time on the review but basic customer services is of utmost importance and they were not followed. Instead of self-promotion on Twitter and Facebook make sure your goods and service are delivered. The only bright side of the story, my significant other somewhat understood and I’m lucky for that. So now I have 365 days to make amends for this company blunder. Don’t Risk Your Time and Money! PS. Took 2 Months to get back my money.

Had a disappointing Valentine’s Day because of What a Bloom. I ordered about $ 150 worth of flowers for delivery to Sudbury, ON on Valentine’s Day. The flowers never showed up, and What a Bloom never called to let me know delivery wouldn’t happen. I spent the next week trying to get in touch with them, but they never answered their phones, and didn’t respond to email, Facebook, or Twitter messages. They even deleted several customer comments from their Facebook page asking them how they could get in touch with What a Bloom since nobody was answering the phones. In the end, I had to get my credit card issuer to charge back the cost of the flowers. I never did hear anything from What a Bloom, ever. No phone call, no apology, no attempts to make it right at all. It was a really terrible customer service experience that made me look pretty bad on Valentine’s Day.

When the flowers I ordered were delivered, a rose had already fallen off the stem and was lying at the bottom of the box. The roses were browned on the edges and by the morning all but two of them had wilted and were sagging off the stem. The other flowers were also slightly browned and were bunched together like somebody had just grabbed some flowers out of their buckets and put them in a bunch. It was definitely not an «arrangement». The bouquet looked nothing like advertised and even though I got the«best» option, there was NOT21 stems in the vase. I counted and there were 16. I realize I purchased this with the TeamBuy offer, but this was NOT an 84 $ bouquet. I am pretty disappointed and it was embarrassing to have had this bouquet delivered to someone.
