My Kid loves this place, and if he is happy so am I. I went here twice: the first for corn picking and blueberry and had a blast(the cherry tomatoes are also extremely tasty). The second time was for apple picking, it was still fun but not as much and was too pricey for me. The place is a paradise for kids with the small petting zoo, the cool playground and well a Tractor ride is always a winner. Too bad its not that cheap to go in. If you are going there bring your own lunch, they do sell food but not a lot of options and not everything is reasonable priced. At the summer try the ice coffee and in winter the apple pie… wow.

Last weekend, I was able to go to Quinn Farm for the first time in years. Located at 2495 Boul Perrot, Notre-Dame-de-l’Ile-Perrot, QC, Quinn’s Farm offers several family friendly activities. They have an Animal Barn which holds Pigs, Sheep, Chickens, Llamas, Goats, Rabbits and in the Fall, Horses. The animals they have come and go, so there is no guarantee that you will see all of the ones listed but you can always call them to find out what they do have before going:(514) 453‑1510. There is also a Farmyard which has several activities such as: a Straw castle, a Slide, a Tire pyramid, Duck races, Mini-maze and a Labyrinth. There are also several tractors which are fun for kids to pretend to ride. When you’re ready, you take a ride on the tractor, which arrives every 15 minutes, to get to the area you wish to do your picking. We went for Pumpkin & Squash Picking, but at this time of the year, Apple picking is also available. Depending on the Season, they offer several other«picking» options, listed on their site(dates are approximates): The scenery alone is beautiful! We were very lucky to have the weather cooperate while we were there, although it is starting to get Chilly here in Montréal! I could probably stay on the tractor ride all day, just enjoying the air and the surroundings. Once we got to the pumpkin patch, it was time to find the perfect pumpkin! There was a large selection and it was a fun-filled experience. There is no doubt that special memories will be made while you enjoy your Quinn Farm adventures. The prices are also very reasonable. From May 16th to December 24th, entry into the farm is $ 5 per person, ages two and older. For the rest of the year, it is only $ 2. I believe we paid a mere $ 0.45 per lb for our pumpkin. They also offer Season Passes. For more information on Admissions, Hours and other details, such as having a birthday party there or group visits, check out their site here. They also have a Farm Shop full of baked goods, clothing, toys, stuffed animals and more. It is hard to resist buying pie, jam or honey while you are there, trust me. If you get a bit hungry during your stay, head over to the Snack Bar! See what kind of snacks you can have by visiting their Food Page on their site. Love it.

I feel quite harsh giving Quinn Farms a mere 2 stars since the produce we collected here was exceptionally good. We went pumpkin picking and the selection available was great and the activity itself was very fun. The pick-up tractors were fast and enjoyable! There’s a nice big play park for kids as well. Honestly, if it weren’t for 1 major taboo, Quinn Farms would be a solid 4 stars. However as a previous Unilocaler already reported, I have to dock 2 stars since they use a practice that is a huge problem for me. They charge you an entrance fee of $ 5 per person and they will even charge children ASYOUNGAS2YEARSOLD!!! Savages. I’ve gone to countless farms all over the Montréal region and Quinn Farms is the only one that will ask you for an admission fee. Insane! It cost us $ 15 just to get in! Produce is extra of course. The prices for produce is decent, 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small pumpkin cost us $ 9. They charge by the pound and I believe the weight is 40 cents per. Reasonable but when you paid $ 15 to get in… Unacceptable. There are other ways to circumvent people who come here and don’t buy, perhaps charging a smaller fee($ 2) would be good. They also shouldn’t ask money for children under 5. They could ask you to pay for your bags prior of going in… in general… anything but this.

I visited Quinn Farm as part of an apple picking trip organized by my son’s garderie. We had a blast. Picked and took home 20lbs of apples, plucked and ate four types of apples right off the tree, drank hot cider and my son got to ride a pony. We even stocked up on some fresh jam, honey and bought a summer berry pie. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone with kids looking for a fun outdoor fall activity(added bonus — running around the Orchard will exhaust your kids and make for a nice, long nap time!).

Quinn Farm is AMAZING. Their commitment to the land and sustainable farming practices sets them apart, and the consideration given to family activities is incredible. I don’t think you can get better value for your money for a kids’ birthday party anywhere else in the greater Montréal area! I’ve held my son’s birthday party here for the past two years and it’s become kind of an annual event in our friend circle!

Don’t get me wrong, I like Quinn Farm, especially because it’s not far from where I live. I just can’t get over them charging admission to 2 year olds. At the end of the day, when I look back and realize that I paid $ 25 for 2 adults and a 3 year old to pick one 4L box of strawberries, I feel slightly ripped off. I would expect more«attractions» other than the berries if we are to pay an entrance fee on top of inflated berry prices. I get that they are partially charging for the U-pick«experience», and that’s fine, but in my mind, that is what the inflated berry prices are. I don’t quite get the«cover» charge just for entering the grounds. I would understand if they didn’t want people just walking around eating their stuff for free… but they force purchases of one basket per 2 people. Hmmm.

I’ve been coming to the Quinn farm for years now, either to pick strawberries or raspberries or apples in the fall. it’s the closest PYO to Montréal and is a welcome break from the city. The family who have run this farm for years are very friendly, they definitely do cater to families and you will see little kids with their parents but the place is big enough to go mind your own business. They also have a shop on the premises where they sell their own jams, pies, apple cider, apple butter, honey and condiments like corn relish and homemade ketchup. I try to make it out here at least once during strawberry season and again in the fall. Pack a lunch, pick your berries and then head over to Parc Point du Moulin for a picnic by the water’s edge. It’s a calm, gentle place to escape the city heat and concrete jungle.
