By far one of the best customer service businesses in oakville. Friendly compassionate knowledgeable staff. Will go well beyond the normal protocal to ensure customer satisfaction. Prices are great. They are even open sundays.

Cycle path Oakville is one of the best bike store i’ve been to. The have a very Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We went there to fix and switch our bike seat post, also asked some questions regarding bikes and charged us at a very affordable price. They’re very accommodating and they really know their products. The stores carries a wide selection of bikes from road bike to mountain bike. They carry Mostly Giant and Trek bicycles. They also have great selections of men & women’s clothing, shoes and bike accessories. The store is bright and clean and price is just right! My new favourite cycle path store.(Too bad the Woodbridge location is gone)

Caveat: Lee has been patronizing this business for a number of years, so I had a little bit of bias going into this place. I figure, he’s been riding for 20 years, and he drives all the way from Etobicoke to patronize this store, so he knows what he’s talking about. And I was happy to find that they are indeed a good place. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They know their bikes. Their major manufacturers are Trek, Giant, and Diamondback. I already knew what I wanted, which the salesguy understood, and they actually had to pull a 17″ bike out of the back for me. I realized it was a 2014 model, which was actually great, because it is a better model than the 2015. He got it all set up for me, and I was able to take it for a spin around the parking lot to make sure that I was totally happy with it, which I was. One thing they could work on is a more efficient customer wrangling. Things were a little bit chaotic with a lot of people in there, shopping for bikes, needing repairs, and the counter was hard to manage — I ended up filling out the sales slip for the guy. They also offer a free year of maintenance with any purchase, which is pretty standard now, but something I really appreciate. I’ll definitely be back!

I have shopped at Cyclepath Oakville a few times as I visit and spend summers in the Oakville area and do a lot of biking there. I have found the service okay, nothing special but acceptable. Nobody goes out of his/her way to do anything but show you where items are located and what is on sale. Nobody answers questions about the different types of clothing, for example. On that basis, I would rate them 2.5 stars. But, on May 24, I went in to try to find a fanny pack and plastic map holder. The young man who waited on me could not have been less helpful and was extremely snotty: — He said: «I didn’t even know they still make fanny packs. I have one in my basement and could sell you that one.» — He said: «Why would anyone want a plastic map holder? My generation only uses electronic devices. Why don’t you look at a Garmin.» I told him that sometimes one bikes where GPS signals are not available and that I would not shop at Cyclepath anymore. He could have cared less. I will take my business elsewhere(e.g., Gears or Oakville Cycle & Sports). BTW, I found both items at Mountain Equipment Co-op(MEC) in Burlington and one of the items at Hikers Haven.
