Elm Hill Cookies

I’ve been to this little shop twice, with a difference experience each time.
The first time I went, I had just moved to Oakville and was exploring my neighborhood. I stopped in and while the cookies were alright, the service was not. The woman who was there was not friendly and acted like I was bothering her. I wasn’t impressed.
The second time, I decided to take my 11 year-​old Nephew, to give them another shot. They were much friendlier, and the cookies and milk we got were delicious, but there’s still something about their customer service that needs work. It almost seems like they are unsure of how to deal with customers who come in off the street. I’ll give them one more try in the future, if only for the cookies alone.

What a wonderful little shop!!! I recently went into Elm Hill Cookie to buy an assortment for a party I was going to. Iam tired of always bringing cupcakes and thought these beautiful cookies were the way to go. The lady packed up a fantastic assortment for me and put them in a decorative box along with a chart describing the cookies!
I love it here and will be back a million more times!

Do not go in unless it’s OK to get addicted. The caramel squares are so incredibly delicious, and their raspberry jam sandwich cookies are amazing. I never get a chance to try some of the others (or rarely) because I load up on my favourites! Everything is fresh and tastes incredible, because they don’t add any of the nasty colours, preservatives, flavour enhancers and whatever else we normally get in our sweet treats. These cookies are the real deal. Can’t get enough of them — it’s my weekly indulgence every Saturday and worth every penny and calorie.

Just simply one of the best cookie places around. They have an amazing assortment of
lovingly made cookies… but my all time favourite is the apple pie cookie made with a flaky puff pastry. This special cookie changes with the season. Their mincemeat pie cookie at Christmas sells out for a good reason… once tasted you’ll never go back to boring mince meat pie again. Serve these fruit pie cookies with a dollop of ice cream,
yoghurt or whip cream… the perfect dessert… yummmm.

This is undoubtedly the best boutique cookie and milk bar in the GTA.
Located just a few minutes from the downtown core, Elm Hill Cookies offers a variety of unique square shape cookies using fresh natural ingredients.
The owner and staff are warm, welcoming and patient with new customers.
The Café is a little too small for my liking however you overlook that when you bite into one of their cookies.
I was absolute blown away by the Lavender Shortbread cookie.

It goes to show that you don’t need to travel all the way downtown to enjoy a unique dessert experience.

The cookies are heavenly. Real ingredients. Bespoke execution. Chocolate shortbread is amazing! Buy 6 and there is NO tax!

Cookies! I love cookies! My claim to fame is once finishing a full pack of rainbow chips ahoy during the course of a movie. Gross? some say yes, I say delicious.
So I’m a big cookie fan, and never knew of this place, and it’s right around the corner from my house. WTH, why wasn’t this place in my life earlier. This place is great!
Each cookie is about $ 1, and they’re not big (about the size of a chips ahoy cookie — except square) but the price is justified because some of these little things are scrumptiously delicious.
My favorites so far are the cinnamon bun cookie (yes, you read that right), the double ginger cookie and their own take on an oreo. They have another huge array of shortbreads, and a carrot cake whoopie that looks (and I hear is) amazing.
They also do wedding arrangements (this is actually how I found it, a friend asked me to come by to get a sample pack for him).

I am going into Elm Hill Cookies even when my Unilocal friend kept rolling his eyes! My tummy can always makes space for more cookies and sweet doesn’t matter what!
Elm Hill is set up like a little boutique, a boutique for sweet. A choice of nicely packaged cookies or if you are on a diet then you can get the individual one…
I pushed those ladies aside since they were hoarding the counters where the free samples were set up so I able to sample ginger, dark chocolate and the short cake all so awesome! Buttery, moist and full of flavours…

Great little… bakery? Cookie shop? Coffee bar?
Any way you look at it, this small space has some of the tastiest treats around. Their cookies are square. Know why? B/​c they don’t like to cut corners.
Ugh.
Anywhoo, we went thru 4 – 5 different types. Whoopie pies are so moist. I tried their tea biscuit/​cookie. Not like anything I’ve tried before but good. Friendly staff that love their jobs.
Awesome looking store. Great addition to Kerr.
