Experienced an amazing massage in the Salt Cave as part of the Valentines special. Colleen gave a such a good massage, I didn’t want it to end. She focused on the areas that I wanted and applied the right amount of pressure. The unisex change room is small and I was sad to hear that they no longer have the hamman spa. Worth a try!

Nice, clean and friendly is my first impression, but lack of details on services. Once you are in, you feel like everything compact and small. Cheap investment on shower head makes you wonder why. Awkward waiting room setting, only works if it’s by yourself — glass table awkward! Tried the salt cave massage couldn’t tells the different. If it is your first time salt cave, management please explain it, definitely can get customer back. Cheap massage table — Maybe not their specialty, why? You can hear the train noises in the room — again and again(it’s not the music for sure). Smart pricing, only pay for what you want. But if you add up is very pricey. Give credit for privacy option that you can’t get elsewhere for these prices. This establishment tryouts too many things in a small space. If it’s knows play attention on customer details can definitely win over train noise. Will I go back — definitely maybe!

I really liked Zenbar at first. The spa was clean and the staff were very friendly. I went there for a luxury mani/pedi and my partner had the luxury mani/pedi and a bikini & upper lip wax. Between us we spent almost $ 300. Unfortunately, my partner had some burn marks from the wax that became more apparent a few hours later. She also had strips of hair left. When I got home, I realized manicure(almost clear polish) did not reach the edges of most of my nails, and was chipping quite a bit after 2 days. The pedicure was pretty much gone within 5 days. I wanted to leave a good review, as they were very friendly and the spa is beautiful. Unfortunately, we just don’t feel like our services were worth the money we paid.

The Luxury Mani-Pedi Combo is appropriately named. It was very relaxing in the zero gravity chair — I think I may have dozed off. The studio is very quiet and peaceful and the décor is quite soothing. Overall, this placed was very zen. A couple issues: 1) Very limited selection of nail colours. 2) The room for nail services has a window/emergency exit door that faces the parking lot and the blinds were open so I found that distracting. I suppose I could have asked for the blinds to be closed but I didn’t bother. I will return.

Zen Bar is seriously lacking any Zen. We went to zen bar twice giving them the benefit of the doubt as they are new, but had some serious issues both times we went and will not be returning. They called us back a few days before our first appointments and told us that they had doubled booked and sorry… Upon complaining they were able to move some things around and get us in earlier in the day. Upon arriving we we were not in the system, but she would work it out anyway. Nice way to greet a new customer. The staff seemed stressed out full of nervous energy and rapidly took us through the facilities. Everything looked nice enough but lacked functionality or the necessary space… The change lockers were coed with two small change rooms with a shower. The doors were glass and only slightly frosted, you can see right in… The whole spaced was freezing cold. The sauna was nice and large, but lacked an in and out room. it exited right into the hallway and the floor was covered with a towel, soaking wet and freezing cold. your slippers will get wet and your feet cold. The second time we went, they moved around our appointments without even telling us. We book appointments in certain order for a reason to obtain the most benefit as you may understand… My suggestion to the zen bar, Inform your customers if you’re going to move around appointments…
