I have been twice for lunch while I have been in town for lunch. They recently added a nice new deck so the entrance is now on the side. The ambiance is nice inside, very comfortable in my opinion. I got the jerk pork once and recently got the jerk chicken. Both times I had the rice and beans and slaw. Both times the protein was a touch on the dry side but not terribly and not all of it. Flavors were there and overall I really enjoyed my meals. Portion sizes are just enough for me, but for the price I can see where some may feel they should get more. Service has always been pleasant and enjoyable.

I’ve never had a meal here that I haven’t enjoyed! And I’ve tried all the parties, all the reggae wraps and so much more. You always get enough to fill you up, and always at a good price.

Probably my favorite spot in Orangeville — and with such a burgeoning food scene that really means something these days. I have eaten the jerk chicken and oxtail multiple times — and it has always been on point. Never had a problem with the portion size either. Never tried the Reggae Wrap but my brother swears by their Roti’s. I tried my first Trini Double here and now can’t go without getting one. After Soulyve got me hooked on them, I have tried them elsewhere, but none have matched Soulyve’s.

Sorry you gotta eat here fans !! I just got ripped off with the smallest portion of food I’ve ever been served in a restaurant for lunch. $ 16:11 for lunch and it was a child’s size portion for and adult. It’s the first time and the last time for me. The taste on the oxtail had way to much pepper to boot. So disappointed in the quality off the food and the portion size.

We used Soulyve for our wedding rehearsal dinner and we were definitely impressed. Catering prices were reasonable and there was more than enough food to comfortably feed our party of 20 with leftovers. We opted for the jerk chicken(of course) and sweet BBQ chicken, with cous cous salad, rice and peas and Soulyve slaw as sides. The slaw was super creamy with dried cranberries which I didn’t feel like I would like, but actually really did! I’m normally not a fan of creamy slaws, or fruit in slaw, so I was surprised in a good way that I actually enjoyed it as much as I did. I haven’t eaten in, but would definitely welcome the opportunity the next time I find myself in the Orangeville area.
