This place is beautiful. Delicious authentic Greek food and wonderful people. Will definitely be back to try the grilled octopus. The grilled calamari was best yet!

Ordered from here handful of times. Always a bad experience, undercooked food, tasteless food, the service is hit or miss.
I live very close and was excited when this place opened, we had lamb the first time and it was the worst lamb I’ve ever had.
Second time was an order for a large group I was having over, basic buffet style. Lots of the meats were raw and not cooked.
Third time we had family visit from Kingston Ontario and they wanted Greek food. I warned them it wasn’t the greatest and the service is hit or miss. We made and order they said would be at out house in 45minutes to an hour, it showed up 1:45 minutes later only after I called at around the 1:15 mark. They acted like I was bothering them just asking where my food… Again mediocre meal at best.

Nice ambiance, good food, great service! What more do you need? An amazing partner by your side !!! Check!
My hunny took me here for my birthday since we were in Oshawa and I wanted Greek food. We ordered Saganaki and wine to start with. Both really good! We ordered the platter for 2 and OMG, there was TONS of food on that plate. We couldn’t even eat a quarter of it. Especially since you get the greek salad before the platter comes out. We had leftovers for 2 days and fed our dogs ;) I don’t eat pork and I found the beef to be dry but everything else on the plate was YUM! We had the baklava for dessert and it was yummy!
This isn’t the Danforth but pretty good Greek food here.

We have passed by this restaurant several times and today we have decided to finally try Chef Tommy’s for lunch.
The restaurant décor screams of Greece, it was very quiet when we came and we are greeted by the friendly server (whose name eludes me, I’m sorry). There are a number of items on the menu that (especially appetizer side) that I have never seen before (I wish to try them all next time!), but I had my eyes set on calamari. I ordered the calamari dinner along with Greek coffee and my fiancé ordered the grilled octopus dinner. We both agreed that the food was delicious. It came in a good portion and everything tasted yummy! I honestly found it ha d to finish my meal since there were a whole lot of calamari. We couldn’t pass on dessert but since I was full, we decided to share and order their baklava. It was the perfect size and the perfect sweetness, a perfect way to end a wonderful meal.

Great place, and the owner was there refilling my water and telling me about the food. That’s something worth mentioning, I would say! Very friendly lady, Katerina I think her name was. The food was very good, as well. Not perfectly gourmet, but what you would expect at this kind of a place. I’d eat here again, for sure. :-)

Good greek restaurant in Oshawa! If you’ve never had the fried cheese on fire experience you’re up for a treat here! Great ambiance! Octopus was delicious and so tender! My only disappointment was the lamb being very plain, not seasoned enough and the ingredients of the Greek salad could be better.

Great family restaurant! A nice place to eat that is reasonably priced while still being a more authentic dinning experience for the whole family.

Just loosening my belt a notch after diving into a meat platter for two with myself and 3 other people! I just felt I had to leave a review. Take out order was ready in 20 mins, the portions were massive! And the food was delicious. 100% will be back here often, and recommend it to anyone!

The Golden Girls are women in their golden years who get together monthly going out to eat in different restaurants in the Region of Durham. For the most part we are all retired Region of Durham employees. This is an excuse to get together to visit without adding the burden of entertaining on any one individual. Our requirements are as follows: no steps, accessible washroom, accessible parking, tables large enough to accommodate our group size and the privilege of having separate bills. Some of us need canes or walkers to get around so need the space in the restaurant for us to manage. We also eat at 5:00 p.m.
Chef Tommy’s did not disappoint meeting our requirements. The food was decent, the service was decent and the staff polite. We did have to ask them to offer us more light. With advancing age most of us need more light to read the menu and see one another. A darkened room may be preferable for young couples but not for us.
The only issue I had was the salad I asked for to go had the dressing packed in a separate container and put under the salad. Upon first inspection it looked like the dressing had not been included. The person I had bought the salad for had already put his own dressing on the salad and was half way through eating it before he discovered the container with the dressing in it. I thought this odd so left a voice mail message with the restaurant explaining this. I did not receive a reply much to my surprise.
All in all I would recommend this restaurant to others.

Took my mom there for here bithday, and I was some of the best greek food I have ever tried. There lemon potatoes are now my favorite. Customer service is top notch. The price is worth the experience.

I’ve had limited experience with Greek food, being from the USA. Previously had it only from diners, which is usually good. This, however, was *fantastic*. No leftovers, but only because my husband finished his moussaka and then my pasticchio, too, and raved about both. We also had the dolmades for an appetiser, which were out of this world. I think this is my favourite restaurant in Oshawa so far!

OPA! What a restaurant! I can’t rave enough about this place. The food is some of the best greek food I’ve had and I may not be greek but I’ve been to Greece and love Greek food so much I have probably been to most Toronto Greek restaurants. The food is fresh and really Greek gourmet quality, the coffees so good and don’t get me started on the deserts!
Everyone there is friendly and helpful and the restaurant has great ambiance whether you are having a romantic dinner or big party.
Can’t wait to go again!

Went to Chef Tommy’s for a birthday dinner. The dining room has a nice atmosphere. The waiter that served us was very friendly. The food was amazing! Went there very hungry and left extremely full. Will go back again.

Took my aunt there for birthday dinner the owners amazing great customer service and really yummy food a little pricey but totally worth every cent. I would definitely recommend this place too friends and family.

If you like greek food u have to eat here! Amazing appetizers, amazing main courses and homemade deserts that make your mouth water!!! Support your local restaurants an enjoy amazing food, thee is no question about it, chef tommy knows what he is doing!!!
