We love this place. We checked it out because it was close and the food was very good. We came back and had them cater a party we were throwing and the owner helped us out by recommending what we should get. All the people at our party loved the pitas and sides. You can taste that the food was homemade. We will always go back when we feel like a pita.

I go here for lunch all the time. Food is fresh cheap and delicious. Friendly staff. Would recommend it for a quick bite.

My friends and I had a shawarma call, but we also wanted to try some place OTHER than Pita Deli. We went here for lunch on a Saturday and it was pretty much empty… Is it unfair to Pita Time to be compared to Pita Deli? Mayyyyyybe, but that’s why benchmarks exist! Restaurant size: There’s plenty of seating available, and the restaurant is clean and bright! Portion size: My friends and I are accustomed to the behemoth shawarmas at Pita Deli down the street, so we were a little concerned on whether we’d leave hungry. We were not disappointed! Interestingly, while Pita Deli has educated me about fatoush, Pita Time refers to it as «salad with crispy». It was still delicious and filling. Service: Although the friendly lady was pretty much serving 6 of us by herself, there was not a huge delay. They have a frequent-eaters card, where you get a free meal after buying 10 — she had no qualms punching all our separate orders onto one card. Final thoughts: Pita Time hasn’t replaced Pita Deli as the benchmark for shawarmas, but it is definitely a solid contender for Middle Eastern cuisine in Poshawa(northern Oshawa)! If you’d like to be able to sit down and eat, or have a large party, Pita Time definitely blows Pita Deli out of the water…
