Pizza Way

Today I decided to try out Pizza Way, having heard about it from a friend. When I arrived, I was impressed by the deals they offer and ordered the double pizza and wing deal. I checked in periodically to see if my order was ready; 20, 25, 30 minutes went by and I finally received my order. When I returned home and opened up the boxes, the garlic bread was dry and hard, and the pizzas were sloppily put together– probably because they don’t put the cheese under the toppings. Trying to get through a slice of this pizza was actually difficult, it was falling apart, the dough was thin and not particularly tasty, and the wings were veiny. I will definitely not be recommending this place to my friends and family until they learn to make a pizza.

Just tried a new pizza place in town called Pizza Way. The first thing that comes to mind with this place is that it’s a Dominos Pizza clone in terms of the pizza itself.
Great customer service. I called to place an order. Girl on the phone was very friendly and professional. They offered me their ‘Everyday Special’ which was a large pizza with any toppings you want, 10 chicken wings, 4 slices of garlic bread, 2 dips and 3 pops for $ 16.99! Great price!!! I asked for bacon on the pizza and they asked if I wanted crumbled or strips. Never seen a pizza place offer two types of bacon before, very cool (I prefer crumbled). When she asked what dipping sauces we wanted I told her we don’t need any. She then said we should take a 4^th pop instead. Again, great customer service.
So the food arrives, delivery guy friendly as well. We open up the pizza box and at a glance it looks exactly like a Dominos Pizza. I take a bite and it tastes very similar to Dominos in terms of flavour and crust. Chicken wings were good and deep fried. Most corporate pizza places like Dominos bakes their wings, I’m not a fan of baked wings. Garlic bread was also very good.
So overall it was a good experience. I would have to say that their pizza is not as good as Dominos, but for the price it’s definitely a good alternative. I’m giving these guys a 4-​star review. Really it’s 3-​stars for the food, 4-​stars for the service and the price!
