Real Canadian Superstore

A huge grocery store that also has several other departments inside such as a pharmacy, optician, household items and clothing. The selection is vast and prices reasonable. I’m happy with the quality of the merchandise too.
Unlike many other grocery stores in Oshawa, this one actually seems to always have enough cashiers open whenever I’ve been, which is a great thing in my opinion. It drives me crazy in other stores when there are massive line ups to pay.

Love this store. I find it always clean and well stocked. They do offer rain checks for items on sale that are not in stock often as well.
If you are a student you can take advantage of «Student Tuesdays» where they have 10% off your total bill. I also love using their new PCPlus card. You rack up points on your usual items and can redeem them easily for money off your bill.
One flaw I have found is their produce (specifically strawberries and raspberries) tend to mold quicker then other stores.

I’ve recently started shopping more at this Real Canadian Superstore to take advantage of their natural/​organic food aisle. Pretty good selection, and it’s handy that it’s all in one location. Friendly staff too, and they’ve been helping with locating items. I also find myself randomly buying items of clothing every now and then.
The only drawback I’ve found is that the grocery aisles are really, really long, so it can be a time-​consuming process to get a bunch of disparate items. That will probably improve as I become more familiar with the layout.
And I still don’t associate this store with pharmacy/​personal care items, because that stuff is all the way on the other side of clothing, and I just don’t see it to know what’s there. I always use the grocery side entrance.

I must commend this store. My elderly mothers Tassimo coffee maker she purchased in January kind of exploded last night. It was well past their 14 day return policy. After explaining how much she needed her coffee maker they very quickly agreed to exchange it. This is the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back. Thank you TRCSS.
