This place has delicious food, excellent service with a clean and sleek décor all for a reasonable price. We had the Eggs Benny with pork belly and the peameal breakfast. The Benny was tasty but the peameal here is excellent! The owner takes pride in the food he serves and checks on the customers to see if they’re happy. Will definitely be back.

De-licious! I had the philly steak sandwich and it was the best I’ve tasted in a long time! Totally recommend this place!

Went here for breakfast with my Mom and two sisters for Easter Monday. They were able to seat us immediately and our server was very kind. She brought us our drinks, and our food was up quite quickly after that. We had eggs benedict, french toast and a sausage & cheese grilled sandwich. The food was delicious!(I tried a bit of everyone’s plate.) The chef came out and personally walked around to each table to ensure everyone was happy. Super sweet gentleman. I really love the décor and will be back regularly.

Such lovely service. The restaurant is very bright and inviting, exactly what you want for a hearty, family-feeling breakfast restaurant. My husband had the pork belly eggs benedict and I had the western omelette. All delicious with very generous portions. Will absolutely return!

We walked over here from Berry Hill when we couldn’t get a table there and were seated immediately. Coffee refills came quickly, our server was friendly and warm; our party had eggs benny and pancakes — all were good.

Second time here within the week. Food is amazing, fresh quality ingredients. The prices are very reasonable. This is our new favorite spot for breakfast or lunch, with so much variety on the menu and everything we’ve tried is incredible. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is decorated very rustic chic, and incredibly clean.

A nice surprise find in downtown Oshawa — good ambience — upscale café vibe — really personable service. I love the open kitchen. Breakfast was scrambled, Peameal bacon, home fries and baked beans. Eggs and the butcher cut Peameal were perfect. It’s clear that the guys on the grill are passionate about delivering quality food. With that, I think that they could make the home fries and baked beans their own. Definitely worth a visit and a solid 4.

The White Apron is one of the best additions to Oshawa’s downtown core. The food is hot, fresh and delicious as the service is fantastic and the décor inside and out is fashionably designed. The White Apron is my new place to go for breakfast and/or lunch. Forget Sunset Grill and Daybreak, if you want a touch of wholesome food with a twist of freshly prepared, look no further than The White Apron… they’re waiting to serve you.

My husband and I both tried the eggs benedict with pork belly. We were both a little disappointed. The pork belly was really thick and kind of bland. The rest of the meal was good though. Nice hollandaise, crispy home fries, and soft poached eggs. I would go back for the regular peameal benedict. Service was good, but the meals were a bit slow. They are quite busy at lunch on a Saturday.

When you walk into this place, you feel like your in a downtown Toronto hipster café. The renovations are amazing and hopefully it forces other Oshawa restaurants to step up their game. We had 4 people and 2 children in our party so we were able to try a variety of items off the menu. The pancakes were great, the eggs benedict tasty, and I had the Über breakfast. The panko on the french toast was a great touch, and the peameal bacon and sausage were also very good. I almost forgot to mention the great organic coffee they serve. The service staff was friendly and knowledgeable, so overall a great experience. We moved from Toronto to Oshawa so finding a great breakfast place has been very hard. The White Apron surpasses our expectation and would beat a lot of the downtown Toronto brunch places we use to visit. Not only is this the best breakfast and brunch place in Durham… it may be the best place in the GTA.

Have been here twice now since they re opened. A very pleasant surprise, very nice clean inside, good tunes and a very friendly owner and wait staff. Delicious breakfast, no bacon which was weird but pork belly was an option on my eggs Benedict so no complaints here. Keep up the good work

These guys went a little above what you would expect from a restaurant. Good prices, great food quality, and all cooled exceptionally well. The lunch menu is a little small, but totally fine as this place shuts down at 3. A complete lack of grease in the joint, more than likely due to the fact that bacon isn’t on the menu — only peameal. A nice touch. Breakfast burritos also look and taste great. Served on naan bread. I’ll come back if I’m in the area and hungry.

Came in this morning to have some breakfast. Don’t normally come downtown to eat. The White Apron was a pleasant surprise. The décor is nice, exposed brick wall, old diner pictures, open kitchen. Also had some nice blues playing quietly in the background, a nice change from your standard morning radio show. I had blueberry pancakes, which were huge, made with fresh blueberries and real maple syrup. My wife had a cheese omelette, with home fries, and baked beans. I ate the baked beans, they were very good. We will definitely be back for a second time hopefully with our son who will determine if it is a threepeat! I think I am safe to say it will be.
