When I choose to go to Busters, I make this choice for approximately three reasons. 1. It’s a very short walk from my home. Easy access is always a plus! 2. Their buffalo chicken sandwich is my favorite restaurant food in the entire world. It’s absolutely delicious and I would recommend anyone who enjoys buffalo, chicken, or those two things mixed together to go to Busters and try it! 3. Lynn, the bartender/server is an absolute pleasure to be around! She’s just fantastic and welcoming! Now, I don’t come here often. Save for Lynn, the service can be spotty and the regular patrons the same. Their other food is good as well, I just am always blown away by the sandwich. Their wings are a close second. Their tap beer selection is strong, and I like the Team Pitcher when you’re with a group of friends! There are food items on their menu that just aren’t as good anywhere else and I encourage other Unilocalers to give them a try!

I’ve been here a couple times and have always had a good experience. The service is great and the food even more so. Never had an issue with food being bland or tasting off as others have described in their reviews. The location of the restaurant is unfortunately in what could be the worst mall in Ottawa: Lincoln Fields, but it is definitely worth it to check it out.

I found this place pretty good. The food was good and the services was fast and friendly. Making the restaurant a little more modern wouldn’t hurt. It has a great location and a lot of potential. Overall i recommend it, good food with reasonable prices

Typical bar and grill style restaurant, love the portion sizes, fast cautious services, thumbs up for the pug references in the menu. had their breakfast which was ok, nothing out of this world, but again you do get a lot of food for the price. 2nd time around had the Club Platter. Again, nothing out of this world but great value for such a clean friendly place. I would recommend this place for a 30 plus crowd, free parking and you can also hit up walmart and Metro after your meal.

There is no reason for this establishment to come off as amateur as it does. Yet, here we are. Located in the Lincoln Heights Shopping Centre, it would be easy to make the excuse that it is a dying mall with a certain demographic. But, having an outdoor entrance and being sandwiched by Richmond and Carling Roads, not to mention being next door to a major transit station, and sympathy turns to frustration. The food, despite having a lengthy menu with a plethora of home-cooking-style options, is bland and sub-par. The service was simply inexperienced. The guy behind the bar also served the cocktail section and he was in over his head. He admitted he was not yet 21-years-old and came off as if it was his first day. He was more focused on the bar flies sipping bottles of Blue than serving the rest of his section. I could go on, but the moral is: just because the mall isn’t doing well doesn’t mean you can’t set your own standard and make s name for yourself.

This is without a doubt one of the WORST restaurants in Ottawa! The food is awful! I ordered the chicken sandwich and the chicken tasted really off, as in way past the expiry date! After sending it back, I ordered a macaroni and my friend said: «Well there’s no way they can screw up macaroni» Unfortunately, Busters did-It was bland and watery, with no discernible cheese taste at all, save for tiny crumbs on top! My husband ordered nachos which he also didn’t enjoy and began to feel ill after eating them. The only good thing about this place was that our waitress was pleasant. AVOID!

So if any of you have ever(somehow) found yourself in the Lincoln Fields«mall», you may have noticed this little spot nestled between Moores and Pharma Plus. Living a few blocks away the bf and I should be frequent visitors, but we also kind of avoid the Lincoln Fields plaza since it’s full of seniors(I love them — but our shopping need do tend to differ). That being said, we’ve been to Buster’s twice, both after shopping trips to Moores. The first time we went the place was pretty busy, but this time it was dead. Buster’s markets itself as a «sports bar», and the front part of the restaurant(this place is HUGE) does kind of fit with that vibe. Where Buster’s falls a bit short is with it’s décor… it’s a little confused I think. They’ve got the whole industrial feel going on with the exposed pipes, but then they’ve got pictures of old rock bands on the wall. It’s just a little bit off and leaning a bit towards boring. That being said, the service here is EXCELLENT. Their servers are always absolute darlings and are very attentive and pleasant. The food isn’t bad, but neither is it amazing. I had a chicken wrap with coleslaw — the coleslaw was absolutely awful — super sweet and had some weird seeds in it. The wrap was fantastic though. The bf had a club sandwich and a cesar salad and loved both. Last time we were there we had the poutine which we really enjoyed. The next time I drop by, I think it might be for dessert. They have an awesome dessert menu(banana cream pie — YUM), including these«pug paws» that are basically deep-fried cruellers with fillings like chocolate and lemon cream cheese. Yum! If you’re looking for a place to watch the game and have drinks in the Lincoln Fields area this could be a good bet. They’ve got a ton of flat screens, lots of seating and a fully stocked bar.
