Corbeil Appliances

Corbeil delivered a new Stainless Steel Dishwasher on Monday. It was positioned by the delivery people up with the front door facing a wall awaiting installation the next day — stainless covered with a protective film. We had to sign it arrived in good condition. On Tuesday their recommended installer arrived more than 24 hrs after delivery. The old was removed and the new replacement hooked up. The blue protective film was removed from the stainless steel. We signed and paid that all was in working order. First thing this morning with the sun shining in on the machine dents on the very right hand side of the front door of the machine became obvious. The response of Mr. Green, the Manager of the Innes Corbeil store was since everything was signed that it was in order, only action he would take is to have GE technician come out to look at it on a service call. Hopefully GE will replace the door. As we wait, I am fuming that we have been so mistreated by this firm. Let the consumer beware of this firm.

In the middle of a kitchen reno so everything is being replaced, what a great time to upgrade the appliances :)
we looked everywhere, sears home store, future shop, the brick etc. and lastly ended up at Corbeil, i had heard good things and they sell WOLF, Sub Zero etc. so hey certainly some eye candy.
i got poo pooed on gas stove… boooo…but i did get my 36″ wide Samsung counter depth fridge with the water and ice
anyway, the pricing was pretty much the same everywhere but the sales rep really seemed to know his stuff and wasn’t pushing us toward the house brand (Sears, Kenmore), we ended up going with 3 different brands to get the best of each type — Samsung, Bosch, and Kitchen Aid.
We weren’t thrilled with the hood fan selection so we opted for Universal Appliance for that one… Cha Ching, but it’s beautiful.
