Just came home from Magicuts and I am livid. After meeting up with my hairdresser, I told her that I wanted a lot of length off of my hair because I was absolutely sick of having it long and wanted to change it up. She promptly began to cut it and said that the reason I didn’t like my hair was because of the long layers. I agreed because they are a lot of work, but I said I still wanted layers because I was going short now. The entire time she just talked to me about maintaining long hair and how to grow it out long and such. I figured this was because her last client had stupidly long hair and she was just trying to make conversation. After making continuous comments about how I hated long hair and such, eventually I changed the subject. She fake laughed at literally everything I said which became extremely annoying very very fast. Also, she had left her station and me while I was in mid-sentence to ask a coworker a question which was so rude. So, after some silence, she finishes, I pay, and I leave. When I get home I notice that she hadn’t given me any layers, despite me telling her and explaining to her countless times that I DIDNOTWANTLONGHAIRAND I WASNTPLANNINGONGROWINGITOUT. I am beyond mad now. I have thick and extremely frizzy hair so I NEED layers in my hair. Now I have to pay for a second haircut and you can bet I will never be going here EVERAGAIN.

I came into magicuts last month for a style. it was my graduation and I wanted loose curls with a French braid around the front. the lady who styled my hair never gave her name but she was friendly. she did a pretty great job and I felt so pretty! however it did not hold overnight(which she said it would). also the price was a little bit expensive. it came to 50 dollars as they charged me for an updo, fair but a little bit much in my opinion. overall I had a good experience
